I recently ordered two cakes from this bakery for my son’s first birthday party. The adorable highland cow cake was for the adults and it was absolutely delicious! And the cute little blue cake was a baby-safe option for my little guy to smash and eat, which he sure did! We couldn’t be happier with how these cakes turned out and we would definitely order from here again!

My daughters favorite treat is to come into this bakery for a cake pop on a Friday. The treats are absolutely delicious and the staff is wonderful. We look forward to seeing Brooklyn almost every Friday, she is so amazing to my daughter, and even knows her by name. I recommend you try them out!!!Kid-friendliness: The staff treats my five year old daughter with so much kindness, Brooklyn even knows her by name. It makes her feel so special to receive such wonderful treatment in a store!!!

I paid for a pretty pricey birthday cake ($80) that tasted good but felt like I got gypped! Looking at the pictures that others have posted, I ordered the same cake choice but wasn't as nearly nicely decorated. Only writing appeared on top of my cake, whereas other pictures had a more decorative top for the same cake. I asked for blue writing, i got black. When asked about the decorating upon ordering, I got the impression that they weren't too flexible on custom decorating. On top of that when I picked up the cake I was told they couldn't close the cake box because they didn't have a box tall enough. So I had to try and hide the cake from my husband and transport this from the car to the restaurant. It was suppose to be a surprise! I would expect that paying for a $80 cake I would get a decent size box to fit the cake!

Omg what a wonderful bakery. We discovered this gem in 2016 for peanut and egg free and have been making the drive from Airdrie ever since for the chocolate cakes and cupcakes.Ordered Cupcakes to pick up today and accidentally picked wrong cupcakes online that would have egg. They contacted me for clarification as they read my allergy comment and adjusted accordingly! I am soooo impressed!!!!

Family was worried they would be too rich and decadent but the cake has a great texture and flavour that’s not too overpowering and sweet. The icing is so good and there’s just the right amount! Loved the vanilla bean, coconut and lemon.

My family got some cupcakes gifted to us from the Cake Bake Shoppe. We had never tried them before, but they looked good!After biting and trying a few of them, we found that all 6 (all were different flavours) were very bland; the cake and the icing had absolutely no flavour and the icing itself, was hard.Maybe will try again one day, but after looking at the price and what we ate, definitely don't think it's worth the money.**because these were gifted to my family, I unfortunately cannot comment on the customer service, only strictly on the cupcakes**
