Absolutely our favorite place to dine out. Been going there for years, anytime in the big city we try to stop in for a bit of food ecstasy. Great atmosphere and hospitality, any menu item is delicious and the avgolemono soup is heavenly, there is a Greek god in the kitchen! The only place ever to ask how I want my lamb done in the souvlaki. Read all the 5 star comments, they're right! I really don't get those who give this wonderful place and hosts less than a 5 star rating.

Yesterday(Saturday), I called at 4pm to make a reservation for 5 -5:15pm, but the person who answered the phone said I did not need it since it was not rush hour, and they would have plenty of tables. When we arrived, the server told us that they had no room, that all tables were reserved. After some discussion in the back, they took us to the staff table - that's how the server called it.We waited a while (~15min)to order and get some drinks, then we waited for another about 45 min for our food. My side dishes were cold, but the food was not bad. We had better food at other greek restaurants, so I am not sure why this was labeled the best greek restaurant in Calgary.It happened that we had had a flat tire and were heading to a concert after, so we did not have the time to look for another place. These are the only reasons why we stayed.

Vegetarian options: Definitely noticed lots of vegetarian options in both appetizers and entree sections.Parking: Some parking in lot at front but also lots of local street parking.Kid-friendliness: At least two families were in having dinner and their babies were being doted on by restsurant owners.

The restaurant is clean. Decor is good too. I think the food was average. I have had better souvlaki. The only thing I didn't like is that I ordered spanakopita and ecmec to go. They packed the hot pastry with cold dessert. It should be common sense that you don't pack hot with cold, so by the time I got home, the dessert was melted and ruined. I am a bit disappointed.
Really good quality food, great coffee. If you like Greek food give this place try. To busy eating to take a photo ?

the roasted lamb plate was absolutely amazing. the lamb was falling apart, tender, not gritty or dry. incredible.i had the avgolemono soup with it which was really yummy and tasted good for the soul.the only note i have is that you can tell the beans and carrots are pre frozen. they’re mushy and, you know, frozen veggies that you get in a bag at the grocery store. you guys would be over the top if you only used fresh veg, and i would pay extra for that.the broccoli was fresh which was great. potato was good. rice was good, could have used a touch more flavour but it was good.will be returning! thank you!
