Food was good except the tandoori chicken which was dry. Lamb Biryani and garlic naan were great. Restaurant was so smoky my eyes watered and service was lacking. Might be better to order takeout.

It was really smokey inside and the hood wasn't working on tandoor I think. It took them so long to serve firstly and I found a hair in the daal makhani. Then I looked in the kitchen none of the cook was wearing hair net. Also dal makhani did not look or taste like daal makhani. Saag paneer was also not good but malai Kofta was ok. Tandoori roti was very good and crispy.

They have only 1 item in chicken in their buffet and nothing to drink .. i have tried buffet at namaste india and its faaaar better than this buffet .. the taste is fine not that good and variety is less . Overall ab average experience.
Worst Experience!It’s not a great dining experience and if you want to go there for dining in experience i would say please choose another restaurant.To start with, there could be double standards. If you are desi you might not receive same level customer service as other community would get. Second, nobody would care if you have questions or want an attention from waitress/server. Third, we ordered one starter and as soon as it served we ordered second one, we ordered second starter and waited like 40-45 minutes and not a single update while we waited with no food on our table. And after several failed attempts to get attention from server on our table, I decided to go to main counter and asked its been so long and they said they are having some problem with the batch or something and its not ready. At least they should have came to us and informed us. After I asked please bring my check and we want to go. The POS system was out of service and asked me to pay via cash. I had to pay via e-transfer.What a disastrous way to ruin my wife’s birthday Dinner.By the way restaurant was half empty and not that busy that could have cause the problem.

To start with I wish I could give 0 star,we went for dinner on 10 feb(Saturday).we ordered Tandoori chicken,Paneer karahi and Garlic Naan.In paneer the spices were raw like you can taste raw turmeric in the curry.Naan didn't had any salt.We went there at 8 30 and they were closing at 9 30,at sharp 9:30 all the employees were ready with their bags to go home,while we were still having our food.So we had to pack remaining food and leave.Absolutely horrible food.This one start is for the girls who served us and they were polite.

A wonderful lunch buffet and a classic in the city. We've been going to Clay Oven since they were in their old location over a decade ago. Lots of options in the city, but if you're looking for a great lunch buffet at a good price I highly recommend. 5 stars!
