This store gets a 1-star because of price gouging...What everyone needs to know is that Dairy Queen corporate does not set the prices...So if you think you are getting ripped off look around, we drove 5 minutes south for a much better experience and a vastly different price.

This location in Shawnessey usually has great service, but just went through the drive-thru and the employee put my one hamburger in a bag without asking me if I wanted a bag and charged me for the bag??????? A note to the manager….. tell your staff to not automatically put order in a bag and charge .15 cents without asking! Especially for one hamburger.Looks like you’re trying to bender off your regular customers!!!!!!!

"I just purchased some food from DQ at this location and I was so disappointed with the drive-thru cashier. I ordered two kids' meals: cheeseburgers with chocolate milk, and also three more plain cheeseburgers. However, I received all cheeseburgers; there are no such things as kids' burger combo meals. When I asked her if that was all, she said yes, even though I had mentioned the kids' meals, and she seemed angry. There was no apology, just a quick closing of the window. I wanted to complain further, but there were people waiting, so I just drove away. This is really bad service from DQ. They should train their workers to be kinder to customers. She looked upset and didn't offer a single smile, thank you, or apology. She just regarded me as an annoying person."

To think this cake was bought…FOR $55 In the most respectful way possible, the lettering on it is off centred, not what was asked and it just looks awful. I expected a much better result as I usually have a better experience, but what I got was a far cry from that. It's disheartening to see such lackluster attention to detail. I strongly advise others to think twice before a getting a cake with lettering from this location. This experience has left me genuinely upset and questioning the value of what I thought was a reliable choice.

Ordered a cheeseburger and large smartie blizzard.Blizzard had hardly any smartie in it and no chocolate sauce. Poor job making it.Then the worst was the burger. I worked at DQ for years as a kid. The bun was dry and stale and the burger tasted dry and pre-cooked and heated. The cheese was like rubber.Very disappointed in Shawnessy DQ and seriously hope they improve food quality as it was so bad this last time that we are ordering elsewhere tonight.

Went in and ordered a birthday cake 4 days in advance. Once i got to the store they didnt have my order and had insisted i had ordered it at a different store, once they realized their mistake they had quickly made my cake and it was absolutely Terrible quality. It looks like it was slapped together by a child. Not impressed and will go elsewhere next year.
The way the manager spoke to my mother today inside the place you're attitude was very disgusting an very unprofessional using the F bomb telling my mother to get the F out of the place for asking for pup cups for our dogs that had just a bot of ice cream in the cup not even a treat talk about a slap in the face when she said she would pay for them but then saying there not free then trying to chagre her $10 or more for kids ice cream cones then saying no you cant have has much as you like in the cup for the dogs my mom usually pays for them for treats for the dogs we go lots during the month, won't be returning due to disgusting behavior and unprofessional manger who works at the place! Take you're money else where..

Was a bit disappointed in my experience tonight. Ordered 2 chicken meals, cheeseburgers, fries and gravy on the side. Received everything except for the plum sauce, which was surely needed as the chicken tenders were over cooked. Which was weird because I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my order since they were waiting on chicken. The regular fries, which is a pretty small box to start with for the cost, was literally half full, resulting in the equivalent of maybe a kid size fry, all baby fries lol. The cheeseburgers were the saving grace. Nothing’s a big deal, I can always cook at home if I don’t like it, was just disappointing. Will update my review if better next time. :)
