The atmosphere was great and dinner was too. We had warm olives, focaccia and dip, pepperoni pizza and caesar salad. Everything was delicious except the salad. It was quite plain and not very exciting.

Food was delish and prompt. Walked in to servers sitting and cooks chilling in a booth. One waitress dropped a fork and kicked it under another table. However we were well taken care of and food was very yummy! I would say there was no manager there quite yet!

Whenever I am in Calgary I make a point of visiting Double Zero Pizza. With delicious food and welcoming atmosphere I definitely recommend it to anyone that loves pizza as much as I do. During my visits I try to see my favourite server Danie. She is always so attentive and engaging. She can anticipate your needs and you can also tell that she truly enjoys her job.

Double Zero Pizza exceeded our expectations for our recent corporate event. Shawna's meticulous coordination ensured every detail was flawlessly executed beforehand. During the event, Dannielle and Dunkin's exceptional service left a lasting impression on our guests. With 34 attendees, they effortlessly adapted to our changing needs, making the experience seamless. I highly recommend Double Zero Pizza for any event; their accommodating staff and delicious food make it the perfect venue.

This is authentic Italian pizza. The pizzas are a blend of typical favorites (think Margarita) and some novel ones. Our favorite is the one with pistachios!Be sure to arrive before 5:00 for the $12 pizzas and beverages at 1/2 price. The locally brewed beers are exceptional.

We had a 6:15 PM reservation for five people. Our initial contact with the hostess was not great great- she was rude and abrupt. I asked her if we could have the table with the booth seat she said no we are full tonight. Nobody ever sat there. We sat down and ordered promptly, our server was very sweet and nice. My tiny champagne glass of an aperol spritz cost $15 - RIP OFF. We didn’t get our appetizers - salad and calamari until 40 minutes after ordering ( they tasted good but it took for ever and no follow up from the server) and then our meal didn’t come for another 30 minutes after that. My pasta was absolutely tasteless. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting - paper towel all over the place and filthy. I feel disappointed as money wasted - slowest service ever and food is meh.

As I stepped into Double Zero, I was immediately struck by the inviting ambiance and the promise of a memorable dining experience. Settling in for brunch, our culinary journey began with an array of tantalizing starters that showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality and creativity. The Calamari in Caprese was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. The tender calamari, perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned, paired harmoniously with the fresh tomatoes, fragrant parsley, and the tangy kick of the tomato-garlic dip. It was a refreshing twist on a classic dish that left me craving more.Next up, the Cauliflower dish was a revelation. Roasted to perfection, the cauliflower was imbued with the warm spices of cumin and the sweetness of raisins, while the nuttiness of pecorino added depth to each bite. The addition of chickpeas and spinach provided a satisfying heartiness, making this dish a standout in both flavor and presentation. The Zucchini Panzanella was a true celebration of seasonal ingredients. Marinated zucchini, crisp and vibrant, mingled with creamy goat cheese and the subtle crunch of fennel. The addition of apple lent a hint of sweetness, while the white balsamic dressing tied everything together with its bright and tangy notes. It was a refreshing and light option that perfectly complemented the other dishes.Moving on to the Meatballs, it was evident that these were crafted with care and attention to detail. Made from a blend of beef and pork, they were juicy and packed with flavor, while the accompanying red sauce added a rich and savory element that elevated the dish to new heights. And finally, the piece de resistance: the Ten Layer Lasagna. As each layer was unveiled, it became clear that this was no ordinary lasagna. The robust flavors of Bolognese and tomato sauce were perfectly balanced by the creamy richness of béchamel, while a medley of cheeses, including mozzarella, parmesan, asiago, and fior de latte, added depth and complexity to every forkful. Each layer was a symphony of flavors, and together they created a dish that was indulgent, comforting, and utterly irresistible. In summary, Double Zero's brunch offerings are a testament to the restaurant's culinary prowess and dedication to excellence. From the innovative starters to the decadent main courses, every dish was crafted with care and creativity, resulting in a dining experience that was nothing short of extraordinary. I left Double Zero feeling thoroughly satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit.

On Sat 11 of us went to O pizza. I was NOT impressed. Access to the restaurant is very difficult especially for elderly so obviously it is geared to the younger crowd. Food was terrible. Had to take left over pizza home to recook it. Drink are pricey even during happy hour and only craft beer available. Waited a long time to be served drinks. Very difficult to recommend this place. Curious if you will post this. .
