Ordered food for my family at noon for pick up at 4:15, planning on getting there for 4:25 to make sure it would be ready for me to just pick up and leave. Once there I was told I needed to wait for the fries. This is normal as they get the fries in the bag at the time of pick up so they're warm. The fry guy then proceeds to fill 4 orders before mine. I believe I ordered first. Then stands around and waits for my fries to finish cooking. Seriously? This was ridiculous. I'm not rating this on the quality of the food, just the terrible service. I was in a rush and needed to go. I wanted to yell at them but that doesn't really fix the situation and makes me look like a jerk. I think I'll just go elsewhere next time.

I will never go back here again. (Shawnessy location). First time there, the burgers were awful. The fries were a cold soggy mess. I did send a message through email letting the establishment know and they were kind enough to send me two coupons for two more free meals. Unfortunately, because the establishment saw that it was a coupon, I guess they decided to skimp on toppings. My burger was supposed to have bacon on it and fully loaded and this is what I got. Please see pics attached. The fries were beyond greasy and also you can see through the bag how it soaked right through it. I also attached the bill of what I was supposed to getI contacted them through email again to let them know I wouldn’t be back and that I have pictures of what I received, but I received No answer back. I did not want any more coupons, but they could’ve acknowledged So here we are….. I’m done with this place

We went for takeout last night about 5pm. These were the best burgers we've had in ages! I love that you can pick any of the generous list of toppings to customize each burger.The Bacon actually tasted like bacon! & properly ( fully) cooked, The best I've had in takeout meals.Service was excellent, along with the burgers and fries.(both the regular and Cajun fries) Generous portions. Had a side of grvy as well! Timely, yummy preparation.We'll be back. Thank you.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my cheese was not melted. Unmelted cheese on a burger is a little silly. I didn't order a deli sandwich. Sorry but Fatburger will always have my business. No more Five Guys for me.

Worst five guys ever. Legit gave me food poisoning!! I couldn’t believe it. I would stay clear of this location for sure. Other locations have been completely fine.

What can I say, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries has proven that they can do an AWESOME burger and Fries. You have it your way and I have NEVER been disappointed with eating at various 5 Guys Burgers and Fries around Calgary. The Shawnessy location is where I have eaten the most in the last 3 years. Place your order, munch some free peanuts, (obviously anyone with a peanut allergy needs to be careful, since peanut material can / will be on your table). Stools and booths are clean, but a few times I have requested a staff member to clean a table before I and my family sat down. (Clean up of meal is the customer, so use your own discretion). The Fries are really, really good, the Cajun seasoning is my favourite, I usually order regular fries and ask for a Cajun Seasoning (most of the family don't like Cajun flavour). You get EXTRA fries in the bag, it's a 5 Guys thing they are known for. Though I am gonna be truthful here what you get now is a TAD bit less than you used to get...... Now, you can quickly hit $40 just for two people, Grilled Cheese and Hot Dogs & drinks could be cheaper. The quality and taste of the food make up for the price. Again, to be honest, a $11 burger from 5 Guys Burger and Fries WILL NOT fill me up, so is it worth it? I'd rather go there and get an order of fries for a cheaper price. Still, good burger.
