Talk about one of the coolest sushi ? dishes I have ever seen (coming from someone who lived in Japan for almost 8 years!). Their VOLCANO ? ROLL, which is an off menu special order is sure to impress any group of people at the table. They lace the plate with some alcohol and literally light the dish on FIRE ?! Check out the video. It tastes amazing as well. All of the dishes here are prepared well and served quickly and with a friendly smile ?.The layout and decor of the restaurant is pretty good too. Perhaps a little dark overall though. It is easy to find this location, but parking may be a bit tricky. It is worth the patience though as the food tastes excellent!Parking: Depending on the time of day you may need to be patient to find parking here.Kid-friendliness: They were so friendly with kids here. They interact directly with the kids and leave the kids feeling validated.

We go here usually once a month or 2 and really the 5 star is for Megan (sp?) our lovely server! She goes above and beyond and is always kind. We got take out tonight and there was some passive aggressive remarks made to her by someone on staff and she handled the situation well but it made me disappointed in the staff. Megan you rock! Thanks for everything! Food is good and ask for the lobster roll!

The food does nothing for me and there is virtually no parking. Atmosphere and service are excellent though.

I really enjoyed my meal at GlobeFish in Kensington. The food is incredible and came very quickly. I had a special role and substituted for black rice which I hadn't had and it was delicious. The server I had was so sweet and I left happy and full! Will come back ?

All their specialty rolls are delicious especially in the Kensington location! our favorites Cat's Eye, Sexy in the City, Mt Fuji, Glencross, Mango Paradise and Rapture. Last dine-in with assorted sashimi was amazing.

I recently went here to celebrate my partner's birthday and I enjoyed the quality and presentation of the sushi (my poor picture taking skills don't do it justice). The staff were also very nice and gave us a free dessert. Looking forward to trying more menu items in the future.

Title: A Culinary Disaster at Globefish Sushi & IzakayaIf there was an award for the most dreadful dining experience, Globefish Sushi & Izakaya would sweep the competition. My latest order was an abysmal failure in both presentation and taste. The sushi, which should have been a vibrant display of culinary art, looked like it had been tossed together by someone wearing a blindfold. As for the taste, imagine the essence of flavorless despair, wrapped in disappointment, with a sprinkle of utter incompetence. Each bite was a regrettable journey through what can only be described as the lowest depths of sushi preparation. The ingredients, which one would hope to be fresh and bursting with oceanic life, were a sad parade of lifeless textures and insipid tastes. In a world where sushi can be a symphony of exquisite flavors and immaculate presentation, Globefish Sushi & Izakaya somehow manages to hit all the wrong notes, creating a cacophony of culinary disgrace. Avoid at all costs, unless you’re a study in masochistic gastronomy.

I live in Kensington and have ordered from here for a long time. Pains me to put a review but this is the 4th time now ordering take out that I’ve been unhappy for the price you pay. I ordered the assorted tempura which was decent. No complaints. I ordered red tuna, salmon and toro sashimi. This is not toro. And I ordered the crunch and munch roll which is supposed to be topped with unagi and unagi sauce/mayo. I basically got a dry tempura shrimp roll (all rice) topped with avocado and nothing else. And paid $70. That is not acceptable.

Delicious and affordable. Excellent service! The room was pretty noisy - I had trouble hearing what my friends were saying at times. They could stand to install some sound-absorbent wall or ceiling covering. Very enjoyable, I will be back.Dietary restrictions: I am on a Keto diet. There is no way I can see to eat Keto-friendly here.Parking: The number of parking spots available is too low. Much of the residential neighborhood nearby is unusable for parking. I had to park two blocks away to be in a zone that was allowed for that time of the evening.
