Me and my family recently had the pleasure of dining at Gogi in Macleod, a Korean restaurant in Calgary that offers an all-you-can-eat option. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and stylish decor, which created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.The food at Gogi was delicious and authentic, with a wide variety of Korean dishes to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the bulgogi, which was tender and flavorful, which had a perfect balance of textures and flavors.One of the things I appreciated about Gogi was the attentive and helpful service. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.Overall, I would highly recommend Gogi to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying Korean meal in Calgary. The all-you-can-eat option is great value for money, and the quality of the food and service is top-notch. I will definitely be returning to Gogi again soon!Note: MAXIMUM of 2 Hrs. Service was amazing at this location! Our server Racquel was incredibly helpful and made sure we got all our items, including an order that somehow got lost. Food came out quickly and appetizers were delicious. The japchae and croquettes were probably highlights! Rice wasn’t wonderful but a little bit of kimchi did the trick :)Random lemonades are also very good!! Very pretty too. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you stir them first though ?Vegetarian options: Appetizers are mostly vegetarian friendly.Parking: Lots of spots, large public parking lot.

The meat was all high quality, and everything was marinated or seasoned. It’s the first time I’ve seen anything used for seasoning for pork belly! The servers also go above and beyond, replacing waters before the jug was empty, biding farewell to the customers at the end of their shift, and changing the grills in a consistent time. They even added a smiley face for my child!Kid-friendliness: They talked with him and kept him safe from the fire, as well as added smiley faces to every new grill.

We had an amazing experience at Gogi Korean Barbecue! The food was absolutely delicious, and the interactive grilling at the table made it a fun and engaging dining experience. The meat was really good, the environment was so bright and open just overall welcoming. However, the kimchi was so acidic, like straight up carbonated like sprite I’ve never experienced that in my life. The ice cream was also really weird. It was textured(?) for some reason just wouldn’t recommend those two to people but overall enjoyed my visit. The waiter was also really kind.

We booked the “party room” to celebrate two special birthdays and it was a wonderful experience. The food was all delicious (AYCE), the salads and sides were perfect? And the service was appropriate. We visited the new Macleod Trail location (4608 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary), and we will absolutely be back!
