We had a private event held here recently with over 60 people. Food was fantastic, on time, and the staff were sooo helpful with fulfilling our needs at every turn.

Boy things have slid downhill after this location moved from 11th Ave into the Garrison Curling Club.Hand cut fries replaced by previously frozen ! :(The smoked meat was still tasty but cold in the sandwich.No friendly greeting from Peter and the servers.Strange chemical smell in the lounge. Won't be back to this location...

Mr Grumman greeted us, and knew straight away that we weren’t curlers. Well worth the trip to the curling club for this amazing Montreal deli. Cheers!

My sister from out of town wanted to eat here as she knew there would be gluten-free options. We had smoked turkey sandwiches and the chili, salmon burger, latkes and I had an amazing piece of carrot cake. Don't be fooled from the outside. It is a hidden gem!

Wow! Best smoked meat sandwich I've ever had! The soft Rye, the huge portion of meat, the delicious mustard and oh, that meat!! Wow. Side of sweet chips with a (I think) aoli dip. Mmmm mmmm mmmm! Loved it.

Nice place. $20 for a Reuben sandwich. Fries were ok. Overall all it was nice but nothing that I would call a game changer. Ok for a casual visit.

My favourite restaurant in the whole world. I don’t even look at the menu when I go there anymore I just alternate between the bagels, cream cheese and lox for one visit and the Ruben for the next one. I always get the house greens as my side and it’s my favourite salad in the world. Staff is very professional and you’ll usually see the owner walking around checking in on guests and staff. Can’t recommend it enough.

We had a short-notice office luncheon and Grumans was so kind to accommodate us! They were sweet and helpful through the ordering process. The food was spectacular. Get the chocolate cake!We would highly recommend you book them for your corporate catering or just drop by to enjoy the atmosphere with your tasty treats.

Today I made a quick stop to Gruman's downtown location to pick up lunch. I ordered the Chicken Brest Club which comes with chargrilled herb chicken, applewood smoked chedder, bacon, tomato, lettuce and onion. On the side I tried the famous Montreal smoked meat poutine. All I can say is...Gruman's food is amazing! You can just tell all the ingredients are fresh and seasoned to perfection. I honestly can't wait to order this again...and again...and again.Gruman's atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly...I loved the smiley face on my takeout bag and the surprised treat inside. If you're reading this, take my advice and head down to Gruman's for an amazing meal.
