We were looking for BBT while walking around and spotted Joy Tea. They're next door to Bombay Tiger. We dropped in on a slow Wednesday (4:30pm). The inside is roomy with several tables. Drink menu is standard; signature milk tea, yakult, fresh fruit tea, matcha, sparkling soda, smoothie and flavoured coffee. - Classic three fellows milk tea (A2) ($6.99 large) - 50% sugar level, no ice. Tapioca was mediocre. Grass jelly lacked texture, pudding was okay. Didn't find the milk tea flavour memorable. - 2x Iced mint & lime tea (C6) ($6.29 large) - not good. The lime was bitter, like it wasn't fresh. My two friends didn't enjoy. Not coming back to JT anytime soon.

The drinks here are super flavourful and their service is exceptional. Their roasted milk tea tastes delicious, much better than conventional chain bubble tea shops.

One of the better places in Calgary for Bubble Tea. Tea is steeped quality leaves and the bubbles are super soft and chewy. Milk they use here is fragrant with no bad aftertaste.

Went with my friends for dessert and the staff were nice and friendly! Chill and clean place to chat with friends. The drinks are really good! Haven't tried their food yet.

Amazing food and milk tea I like it so much! Super! Thank you. The workers are super nice and polite, it is clean. I like the working hours too , that they work until 10 pm. So I can come late, because most other cafes close earlier that is pity. I strongly advise this place ?

My favorite bubble tea place. They're family owned and very friendly. Customizable drinks, will substitute for coconut milk, and lots of toppings.Had the mango Pomelo coconut one, it's always great.
