This place is INCREDIBLE! I stopped in for a glass of wine while I was waiting for my wife at the dentist. The atmosphere was so nice and the menu looked great so we just had to go back for lunch. The steak sandwich was as perfect and packed with flavor, the mussels were to die for. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and crisp. Definitely exceeded expectations! The wine and beer selections were excellent as well. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area this place is a must try!

I have frequented Kawa many a time and have several things that are my favorite. From the excellent food to the Jazz music.. it really is an amazing welcoming place.However yesterday I came in with a craving for their omelet which I have ordered many a time at different time points and doordash also has it on their all day menu. When I ordered a tall blonde cashier questioned my order with a scold on her face. I was confused and asked if wasn't available. Her reply was you don't want a sandwich? I said if it is not available I will just have a pastry. To which she said No we have but it will mess up the kitchen but I will put it in. After spending over $25 dollars including a 15% tip for a take out.I left feeling disheartening. This is not the Canadian way or experience. However, she was extremely sweet when handing over the food while the owner present by the cashier.

Do not know what the hype of this place is ,I stopped here for a quick bite with some regular coffee, I had a smoked meat sandwich and a regular coffee, the coffee and the sandwich were both horrible, then to top it off I get a rude waitress ask me my order number? I told her I was not given one,all I was told was my order will be brought to ,she gives me a rude response that yes you did get a order number. So anyway in a nutshell I know I'll never be back
