The best way to describe Lazy Loaf is Lazy. There’s no other way to explain the oddly consistent abysmal level of quality. Their name truly suits them.I guess the joke is on us because we keep trying because every now and then, by some miracle, we get a truly delicious order.Although, I don’t recall a time when I have ever received what I actually ordered - from missing ingredients like sauerkraut from the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, or bacon from the BLT, to entirely different orders. It is actually impressive how often they get it wrong.Today is the last day (or so I tell myself). Maybe the trick is to eat in and never order from these guys because I can guarantee it, you will never get exactly what you asked for. Although the surprise might be worth it!

Great place for a delicious breakfast or lunch. My two egg omelet was huge and cooked perfectly! Bought a ginger cookie filled with cream home for later! It is worth the time to stop!

I visited with a work colleague for lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves! The staff were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed a soup and sandwich! I had their Nanaimo Bar hot chocolate for yychotchoclatefest! The food was hot and delicious. We will be back! Thanks for a memorable lunchtime experience!

Lazy Loaf has some really strong breakfast/lunch options, but the rest of the menu is slightly let down by the high price of the sandwiches and the odd way that the cash register/coffee service operates, resulting in a very slow paced experience which can take some patience. This is still one of our favourite places to get a classic breakfast or eggs Benedict, especially since the Kettle bread/sourdough is A+ tier as an accompaniment. The baked goods also have never disappointed us yet, they are very good.

My friend and I went to this place for the first time and the staff and the cashier women were so rude. The second we walked in we felt so unwelcomed met with dirty looks and stares at the door. If you are a person of color please avoid this place and don’t give them your business because you aren’t welcomed I felt like I walked into a segregated space back in the 1950s Mississippi vibes I have never felt that way all my life in Canada! Avoid at all costs if I could give zero stars I would!!!

The vibe of this place and me were in sync today, so all the stars. Nanaimo Bliss Hot Chocolate helped a bunch too. This YYC Hot Chocolate Fest entrant was a great time! Thanks Lazy Loaf, I'll say nice things about you to people, even if they don't ask.

LL has been a staple in the rotation for a very long time however don't go there much anymore. Prices keep going up and quality and quantity keeps going down. Service has always been dodgy but that is harder to overlook while I wait 20min for a couple of ordinary sandwiches that cost $40.

Have loved this place for a long time. Great homemade bread makes the best sandwiches. Soups are always delicious. Desserts are decadent. On the pricy side, but it's hard to resist stopping by when I'm in the neighborhood.Parking: Only a couple dozen spots. Full during busy periods.
