One of the worst Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. They cannot make the basic dishes good. I gave them couple chances but am always disappointed. Chicken is tasteless, small portions but more expensive than other restaurants in the neighborhood.Don't waste your money here.

This is a gem hidden in the China town. The price is reasonable and the food is tasty. All we ordered tasted good. I specially loved the stir fried kale with squid with shrimp paste. The squid was super tender and tasty. I would definitely go there again.

Went for $400+ king crab special, the crab was not fresh and previously frozen, and service was terrible, the waitress acted like she hated you personally, the tea was cold and was never refilled and there was no dessert served like before. Would never go back again.

Went here with family and friends. Food itself was fine and tasty. Service is horrendous. Waitress would not clear finished plates when coming back with new dishes. We asked for dessert but the server yelled back that she was busy and we had to ask another waitress for it. We overheard another table asking to refill tea and get a take out box but the same waitress passive aggressively telling them she is busy. They were understaffed with 3 people working front of house. I understand that they will be busy but being rude when we had been polite is uncalled for. It is a half decent place to come for the food, don’t expect good service as they aren’t aware of that.Parking: Terrible parking since it is in downtown

so fast the best Cantonese style restaurant in Calgary! Definitely over ordered for 1 person but everything is up to standard for Cantonese! They offered a free daily soup to begin with- which is not a random free soup but something that cooked with heart & effort for hours! Will recommend fried rich, jianniang sanbao, roast chicken and they also provided free desert at the end- highlight of the night. will definitely go again if I am ever home sick of authentic Cantonese food. The vibe is generally family friendly but definitely not a speak easy vibe for dates.

Just a great Chinese restaurant for demanding patrons. My first pick for causal lunch or dinner and family gathering.

We can find dishes here that we won't see in other places, and for me, many of them were a first-time experience. The restaurant is located inside a building, and even though I've passed by Chinatown many times before, I never noticed it.✔️ A must-try Cantonese soup! It was nourishing and refreshing. It came in a large bowl filled with meat, chicken, offal, and chicken feet – a hearty and healthy meal on its own!✔️ Typhoon Shelter Crab ?: A whole large crab, cooked and stir-fried without being greasy, and it was delicious!✔️ Sour and Spicy Minced Meat Noodles ?: This was a delightful surprise! The sour and spicy flavor was fantastic, and it came with a row of bean curd skin and plenty of noodles. We finished every bit of it!✔️ Chaozhou-Style Steamed Clams ?: I absolutely loved this dish. It was refreshing and could be spiced up with chili or their homemade chili sauce. The clams were plentiful, and the cabbage underneath absorbed all the flavors.✔️ Chicken Wings Stuffed with Shrimp Balls: A must-order if you love chicken wings and shrimp balls!✔️ Crispy Pork Ribs with Black Truffle: Similar in texture to sweet and sour spare ribs but with the added luxury of black truffle. It's a flavor that both northerners and southerners can enjoy, and it was a pleasant surprise!✔️ A must-try roasted chicken dish. It's a whole chicken served with two dipping sauces, and the flavors were rich and delightful. The skin was crispy, and the meat tender and flavorful.? Desserts: The dessert of the day varies, and we were fortunate to try Ginger Milk Custard and Pumpkin Sago Soup, both with generous portions. We even took some home!

This is my second time dining here. The space is tight, so I personally do not think it’s suitable for anyone who has mobility problems. Is this place kids friendly? It depends on how you see it. As I mentioned above, the space is tight but they do provide enough amount of high chairs and boosters. It’s recommended to pack some patience with you, while dining here. It takes time to be greeted and then seated.Otherwise, the food is decent! They have a good variety of dishes. Combos are great, but they are offered in special occasion as I see. The portion is huge though, so we over ordered in both visits. Their prices are unbeatable too!I’ll definitely return.

A go to place when you're craving for some peking duck. They have way much better food quality compared to other restaurants in the area considering the price in mind. Their yin yang fried rice is also good. The sour portion is has that thangy taste but the sour taste is not overpowering. It's more on the sweet side rather than the sour side so it suits my palate. The place can be crowded but overall, it's all worth it.
