Delicious food, cooked to perfection . Friendly and fast service. Server was very helpful. Food was well worth the price. We will be back

The service here is always fantastic! Great food, and almost the entire menu can be made gluten free. They always have good promos and specials.

We've been here a few times and it's always been fun. But this time was definitely a new one for hospitality experience.I just left the patio after spending a couple hours enjoying the afternoon. Our bill was $37 and change. My boyfriend paid with a $50 bill and was waiting for change. We realized that after 15 minutes he didn't return so Dave approached him in the restaurant. He claimed he asked if we wanted change and Dave said that he didn't hear anything on the patio. Sitting right on 17th Ave, it's easy to miss what people say, especially with all the loud mufflers of the cars cruising about. Even still, you should never ask but assume your customers want their change. Your server immediately assumed an attitude and said that your restaurant doesn't give change. How can he say that when he said he asked if we needed change but now that we do, it's restaurant policy to jot give change. Is this for real?! What restaurant policy is this?! Your server, who appears to be Hispanic(?) male, then proceeded to tell us we are sooooo lucky he even accepted our cash and we should be so grateful because no other restaurant on 17th accepts cash. AND then told us to get out and get over ourselves. To. Get. Over. Ourselves. I have never been shouted at by a restaurant server. I myself have been a server/bartender for 6 years while attending university. Never have I ever, shouted at patrons, even the most drunk and belligerent ones. And this server is upset we dared to ask for change. How could he be so entitled and assumed he would get $50 on $37. Had he brought change, we would have taken $5 and left the rest which is a sufficient 20% tip. But we obviously didn't after he gave us such terrible attitude. Never have I ever experienced such atrocious attitude from a server. I am so embarrassed for you to employ this staff member. Clearly we will not be back.

I would recommend this restaurant if you want model milk prices for Denny’s level service. Overpriced. I bet this place will go out of business in the next 2 years.

We came here for happy hour drinks and snacks and ordered a few half bottles of white wine and some Brussels sprouts. It was such a good deal and we had great service.

Ordered the 8oz AAA steak. I asked for a rare. It came well done. One look, I knew it seemed wrong. One cut into it, I knew it wasn't right.I'm flabbergasted that they think this is a 8oz AAA steak. Server said this is what they get from their order, I am pretty sure I looked horrified that they are serving me a flat steak that does not resemble anything like a proper steak at a cost of $34. Also commenting that they can't cook it to rare because of how thin this steak is and that they are not a steakhouse. Upon hearing that, my tiny Asian pair of eyes couldn't help but widened up. I'm sure it looked bigger than my normal days...You don't need to be a steakhouse to serve a 8oz AAA steak. I'm amazed that a business have the courage to allow their people to serve something like this and charge the public $34 for that item on the menu. It should have been April Fool's Day.

Came in end of June 2020 for date night with my wife while COVID-19 precautions still ongoing.Had the pulled pork sandwich and porkbelly and prawns, plus cocktail. Taste was very good, price average, slightly small proportion size. Service was great otherwise

Was so excited to try Market. Cocktails were soooo good. 10 out of 10 for sure with the drinks. Food was a big disappointment. I ordered the Pork Belly and Prawn appy. It came with two pieces of pork and three prawns over a heaping pile of potatoes for $18. I am all about spending money on quality food but there was just nothing to it. I really wanted to love this place but it was meh.

Ordered food for delivery today. Food was so disappointing! Super cold!!! There was no gravy for the poutine. Fries were so cold - they tasted bad and they had sugar added to them. The only 2 awesome things were the dessert that was from Made by Marcus and the beer that was from Trolley 5. It’s really challenging, because I’m trying to order food as much as I can to support the restaurants through this time and getting food like this was so disappointing. A total waste of money.

My husband and I came for dinner this evening as first timers. Everything we ordered was spectacular. Our appetizers and mains were unique and delicious and our cocktails were totally on point. However, the service left something to be desired. As a former industry worker myself for 10 years I have seen every area of the restaurant and am very understanding of the chaos that can occur. But I was super unimpressed by my servers lack of attentiveness, menu knowledge, or willingness to assist in wine, food, or cocktail suggestions or questions. For a place with such a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food they deserve a service staff that represents them well. We would have stayed longer if our server had been a better part of the experience. It was unfortunate.

Market has super friendly and knowledgable staff. It’s our favourite place to go as they have lots of gluten-free options. They even have a dedicated fryer so that I can have fried foods like fries and chips. Love, love, love Market!
