We had an amazing dining experience. The food was so savoury, my favourite was the shrimp toastie with the beet salad a close 2nd. What made the evening extra enjoyable was the knowledge, friendly and attentive service… our server was Kait. Truly one of the best dining experiences I have had… thanks!!

Have been here a few times over the years and am always delighted! The apple pie is absolutely insane, but so is all the food! Our most recent trip we opted to share a few appies and our main. The fried chicken is excellent and our fav! We had a bottle of wine (which paired excellently with the food) and also a post dinner cocktail which was incredible (I described what I wanted and they made it based on that so not on the menu). Definitely a great spot to eat in Calgary - highly recommend!

This dinner was my second meal of YYCEXP 2024.First course - Green Pea Falafel - A good, light appy, texture was a bit overly crisp but with the basil emulsion, no issues - 7.5/10; Second Course A - Poached Sockeye Salmon - Not a great piece of fish; texture simply wasn't right for me, sauce was tasty - 6.5/10; Second Course B - Grilled AB Pork w/ Glazed Oyster Mushroom - Pork was cooked perfectly and beautifully plated, other aspects complemented well, not blown away (MM has a high standard) but enjoyed it thoroughly - 8/10; Third Course -Chocolate Éclair w/ Cream, Haskap Berry - Forgettable; eclair surprisingly disappointing, saved somewhat by the cream - 6/10Overall: I've had many great meals at MM; this wasn't among them. It wasn't bad - MM is never bad - but it wasn't what I would have expected, especially for an event like this that is intended (presumably) to showcase the restaurant to generate repeat customers. If judging it on these items you'd be underrating the restaurant. I'm leaving five stars given my other experiences here.

Had Acacia as our server for the 2nd time tonight. Meant to leave a review the first time but just remembered this time, her service is wonderful and she really knows what she’s doing. Food and atmosphere is great, food quality justifies the price. Will definitely keep coming back!

We were sat in the lounge area with Connor and Carter, we could not have asked for a better service team. The food was amazing, the drinks were phenomenal, and the service was spot on. Easily one of the best restaurants over time. I've been here several times over the past 6 years and time and time again it does not disappoint. There's parking right beside and across the street if need be. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale. But still casual and with the cocktail list you are gonna have a good time. I highly recommend family style dining so you can share in all the flavors. Get the buttermilk chicken! Beets, carrots, calamari and the pull apart bread are amazing shareables!!! It's all so good. The staff are super helpful and professional. There's a complimentary coat check. Go there! You'll have a time, bud!

A supremely delightful dinner experience at this upscale elegant place! I enjoyed everything about it - the food was remarkably delicious, the service was impeccable, the drinks were amazing, the dessert was simply outstanding, the atmosphere and ambiance really inviting and romantic. I wish I took photos of the food and drinks because their presentation was also superlative. I will do that on my next visit because I am already planning to return Vegetarian options: There are a few really nice options for us non-meat eaters. Everything I tried was really delicious!Dietary restrictions: Our server (Kate or Katie was her name) was very attentive and considerate and informed us of the ingredients that we may have found bothersome.

Right from the moment we sat down we were greeted with by a wonderful young waitress who saw that our table was a bit unstable and proceeded to fix it. The food was amazing. It had been awhile since we had been back to Model Milk and we kept asking ourselves why? We stated with the Potato Loaf and it was to die for. Unbelievably tasty. What we liked in our dishes was that there were multiple layers of flavour. We were glad we ordered the bread as we saved some of it to clean up the wonderful sauces in the dishes. We had the Octopus and it was perfect. Tender, full of flavour. Wow. Unfortunately we were so full we could not make room for dessert - I wish we could have but next time. Congratulations to the Serving Staff and the Chefs - just an amazing experience. BTW we braved the snow and cold of the night - and said it was totally worth it. Thank you. Bruno

My husband and I were there on Saturday night, we sat at the bar the bar tender took great care of us, he suggested some really yummy food for us, great food l, great drinks, great conversation.
We haven't been in years but went back and the food and service is incredible! We played Shisito Roulette - only 1 hot pepper, devoured the Beef Tartar and savored the Rib Eye. Acacia our server was engaging and made excellent drink recommendations that really suited my palette. They sent us out a mini pot de creme to try since I was torn on dessert so I could have the Apple pie they are known for and an option I was interested in. It wont be years before we go back this time

Amazing service and food. Food is shareable with lots of great choices. We had steak, fried chicken, kale salad and fresh cut pasta. All were wonderful. Try the warm potato bun as a starter. It'll change your life.

Went here for a late valentines date night and it was absolutely beautiful. Every meal we ordered was so lovely the calamari was delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly with the right amount of spice! We ordered quite a lot and got full at the end but we had to get the apple pie, which was the star of the whole entire meal!! Our server Jamelle recommended to pair the apple pie with a certain wine and it had brandy in it ( I forgot the full name of the wine) but we were blown away with how good the apple pie and the wine tasted together!!!! I highly recommend to try those two! But overall such an amazing night and thank you to our lovely server Jamelle who made our night so special❤️
