I reviewed the location at WEM in Edmonton (when they were relatively new). I was not overly impressed with that location when I went. I did not have high hopes for this location, when suggested to me, as a place for lunch. However, a few months ago I visited this location in Calgary and was pleasantly surprised. We did the classic beef noodles and tomato flavored fried noodles. Both dishes were good and I would visit again if suggested as a place to dine. Might even revisit the Edmonton location again.

We went to try the noodle soup on Tuesday. It was so good we came back on Sunday for more! The noodles are hand pulled and ready to serve, and you can definitely taste how fresh it is. The soup is also so tasty and delicious that our entire table did not have one drop of soup left in our bowls. I had the classic on the first day with mild spice and was easy to eat as it wasn't spicy. 2nd time, I had the beef noodles with pickled mustard and decided to increase the spice level to medium and was almost a little too spicy. If you're not sure, I recommend going with mild.

Easily my new favorite spot to get lunch while I'm at the mall. Good variety of northern style noodles and soups, perfect for a quick lunch, enjoyed being able to choose the style of noodle I ordered for my dish. I ordered the signature stir fry and my partner ordered a soup. Also I must recommend ordering one of the fruit - green teas, the size is very generous and the orange green tea was really good.

Very nice open kitchen and being able to watch them twist and pull the noodles. For the mild ?️ level, it was just right for me, however the broth still tasted quite salty. The menu is concise and doesn’t have way too many items/options. There is more noodle than meat ratio.

Noodle was soft and delicious. I love the pickle radishes. I also order a mango green tea. It was a refreshing drink.
Great service. Good recommendations. I really liked the classic noodles, medium spicy, with #2 thick noodles. My friend (who is from Lanzhou) said it is very authentic! Server was very nice and let us add our own chili oil since some people at the table found it not as spicy as they expected when they ordered medium spicy.

Such. A. Amazing. Staff! AND the food is amazing!!! I have now been twice and brought back friends and coworkers! Funny enough tho the stir fry is what I crave and its just so good! Will do carry out if you want to just wait for it. The area in the front to wait is super cute with the stump like chairs. Bathrooms are a bit weird and cramped but interesting. Not that that would make me give less stars!
