I’ve never written a bad review as I also work in the service industry and totally understand that sometimes things go wrong and people have bad days. But this experience needs to be shared. We arrived:Host sat us (even nicely offered a larger table so we’d be more comfortable, very kind)Server came and promptly took our order. Drinks arrived and all seemed well.Almost an hour later and food has not arrived, server never came back to update us nor offer more drinks. I finally went to ask and minutes later the Manager came to our table asking what’s the issue (came with an unexpected aggressive tone) before we spoke, he said that we ordered 52 minutes ago, NOT an hour while throwing his hand up toward my face (I’m seated, he’s standing) We politely said that’s fine no complaints we just want to eat, pay and leave (we were uncomfortable now and didn’t want a scene) He then said ‘oh, if you want free dessert or something I can give that to you..if thats what you’re wanting… or a free drink, just one of them free”Ok, now my jaw dropped. So offensive to suggest that’s why we inquired about the extreme delay in our food was for one free dessert????!! Obviously we said no thanks to anything free as that wasn’t our goal when choosing this restaurant.But the real reason for my long review was the last part. I paid (my fault for not checking each first, we just wanted to get out of there at this point) only to discover afterwards that they charged me for the ‘free’ dessert which I declined to accept. Very unprofessional and sneaky. Firstly accusing a customer of faking a complaint to get a $10 item free (we said we don’t want it remember? Our bill was $260) and then charging us for that same item at the last minute. We didn’t purposely choose to go hungry to get a chance of a free dessert. No apology, no update, yet making them feel awful like they didn’t deserve nor could afford to dine at your establishment. Ok Moxies Barlow.

There really isn't anything to complain about. We were greeted and welcomed upon our arrival. Taken to a nice booth in the dining area. Our server arrived within seconds welcoming us to the restaurant, introduced himself, and provided us with menus. He came back with water in an acceptable timeframe and we were ready with our order. Our drinks arrived first and were delicious followed by our food which was honestly also delicious. The only suggestion I would have is with the ribs to provide a more colourful medley of vegetables. For $39 dollars there definitely needs to be more than just a few chunks of zucchini and a few stalks of asparagus. Maybe add some bell pepper (red and orange) and other veggies to add some colour and flavour to counteract the sweetness of the ribs. I would also recommend providing options for sauces for the ribs, maybe something a little spicy, tangy, etc.Otherwise, we had a great time and left with smiles and full bellies.Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian optionsParking: Free parking with lots of availability
Thank you to management and staff! After having a horrible experience with ordering online at the wrong location in a different city, they quickly placed my order and had it ready within 20 mins. After they realized that I had to still pay for my order at the other Moxies(wrong location), they refused to let me pay for my order! And to top it off, they felt terrible for telling me to call the other location and stated that I would get a refund. The manager gave me a $100 gift certificate for Moxies. Absolutely made my terrible situation, a MUCH brighter one! There are still good people in this world who are compassionate and passionate about their job. Also, the food was amazing! Would recommend supporting this location, every day of the week!

Went here with my colleagues from work after a very successful business meeting which could change the course of our company to new heights.
Enjoyed every bit of our time at Moxies during our 3 nights stay at the Sandman hotel. Wonderful happy staff with a great vibe pub side lounge. Starters are amazingly fresh and well prepared. We enjoyed some great traditional English breakfast and our evenings at the bar. Coming back for sure ?

Very classy, lovely establishment, where I am absolutely not a chain restaurant kind of person, Moxie give chain a new spelling, C-L-A-S-S!!! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere, I have one question only...When do you come to the US??? Start in Charlotte!!!Dietary restrictions: Handled my allergies with ease. Made me feel very comfortable.Parking: Parking on 3 sides of the building... no worries here.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right up front where it belongs.

I came in a couple days ago with some friends of mine and it was an awesome experience. I expected just another basic night out with the guys but Moxie's made it a night to remember. The food was all incredible especially the Truffle Parm Fries. We had the best time with our server Afra who took amazing care of us even though she looked quite busy. Plus the atmosphere of Moxies really elevated the whole experience. Thanks Afra and Moxie's for the great night!

It's really a nice place with friendly staff. The food is reasonably priced. I had chicken and ribs... 2 thumbs up. Wife had Chipotle mango chicken she can be quoted as "it was great " and mom had Chicken Alfredo and she said it was really good. Our server was named "Shannon" and she was a nice young lady. All in all a great experience.. we will be back.

Delicious, beautiful, unique!Those are the three words I would use to describe every Moxies in the city!Get the steak and white chocolate brownie, trust me :)Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices, not just salad lolDietary restrictions: Lots of GF, Vegan, etc. Options!Parking: Tons of spots, Moxies is within a hotel so there is more parking than seats in the restaraunt!Kid-friendliness: Is quiet mostly, not sure about high chairs, as you always do call ahead. Not for very small kids as there is no colouring pages or things for them to do. Would reccomend ages 7 and up for Moxies or Earls.Wheelchair accessibility: Very few stairs, very handicap accessible.

Late lunch date day with my husband was amazing. It's been YEARS since we've been to Moxies and we're both so pleasantly surprised. I had checked out the menu beforehand and knew I wanted to try the Prawn Thai Curry Laksa and my husband had the French Dip. The Laksa is literally all I can think of since I had it. I can't wait to go back.
