Unagi don and pork donburi are amazing. The staff brought us 2 cups of warm water right after we sat down because the weather was so cold which was very considerate. I will definitely come back.

It's a very low key, casual place with tasty food and excellent, friendly service. If you have a cold coming on, try that potato spine soup! It has everything in it, kind of a bone broth base, and spicy! *chef's

From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes sets the stage for a delightful meal.We ordered a variety of dishes, including sushi, hot pot, and appetizers, each bursting with freshness and flavor. The sushi was very fresh, while the hot pot delighted with rich broth and fresh ingredients.Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Staff members were knowledgeable and accommodating.Mr Lu is a hidden gem that impresses with its delicious food and excellent service. Whether you're a sushi lover or a hot pot enthusiast, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended.

A hole in the wall as it's tucked away hidden but damn what a great find! We got the happy hour platter and it was such a great deal for $39.99. Good amount of sashimi and delicious rolls. Will be going back later to check out their regular menu.Only gave atmosphere a 3 cause we were the only table there the whole time so if you're looking for vibes this ain't the place but for quality, quantity, and value? Definitely!

This place is a hidden gem. True Japanese street food. The miso hot pot has generous portions of beef and you can add seafood for only four bucks and it’s a ton of seafood Fantastic value for great food. It’s not a fancy place, but the quality food and the service far exceeds the price.

The best ramen and freshest sushi I’ve ever had. I don’t live in Calgary full time and I find myself thinking of this place often. I get excited to come here every time I’m in

I stopped by with my father pretty late, around 10:30-11pm. We went and sat down at a table and was a bit confused by how long it took to get our menus. Maybe it was because we had to order at the counter? Not sure because it's our first time and didn't get any direction or help on that. It could've just been that it was late, which is understandable. However the food was really great! We both got ramen. The broth is super flavourful and the noodles are bouncy. One of ours was spicy and the other wasn't, the owner kindly went out of their way and asked if we wanted more spice in general. We actually found the spicy one, the miso ramen, too spicy to begin with but it was a very kind gesture as she put it in a small dish for us to help ourselves to. The decor is very colourful and pleasant to the eyes, although its a Japanese cuisine, I believe it is currently owned by mandarin speakers. This impressed us a lot more because of how authentic the food was. Would definitely stop by again when looking for a late night delicious meal.
