Alex is a top notch food server! She is a pro, however the food didn't seem Greek whatsoever and the undercooked mini potatoes did not hint of Greek at all, also an odd taste applied to the tough beef skewers.

My partner and I had dinner at Greek Next Door months ago and tonight we took his father. It was still a really nice experience! The saganaki is what we started with, and it was yummy! My partner had the souvlaki w/ chicken, his father had the tenderloin medallions and I had the lamb! Everything was perfect! Our server, Alex, was the same who had been with us the first time we went and she is a delight! Bubbly and always smiling. Thank you again for the amazing food and experience!
First time ordering, decided to do pickup and was not disappointed. This was some of the best greek food i have ever had: the dip trio was unreal - the kopanisti is the best ive ever had and the pita bread was perfect.The lamb souvlaki was really good - huge portion of rice and the tzatziki is 15/10. Lamb was cooked perfectly.The tiramisu was also a 15/10. It was a nice, light way to finish off the meal.I will order again.Well done.

Food was out of this world, ordered the souvlaki platter and Greek salad. The waitress (did not catch her name but she was Greek) was super helpful and gave us the best service we have had in Calgary so far. Price was very reasonable and the restaurant ambience was perfect for a night out with your spouse. Definitely going back next time we want a great meal. Ohh and Tiramisu dessert was to die for.

We were a group of 7 people on Jan 6. 4 people were already there when we arrived for thereservation time of 18:30. They already had their drinks and the waiter checkedon them several times while totally ignoring the rest of us. At 19:00 he came totake their food order, but still did not acknowledge us till I said that we had beensitting there for a half hour waiting for service.The food was good but would not go back.

Greek Next Door is Calgary's hidden treasure. That was our first time there and we were blown away by the quality of the food, the service, and the friendliness of staff.After travelling the world for many years and spending a lot of time in Greece I am very picky about the world food restaurants in Canada. But the Greek Next Door cuisine is truly authentic Greek food masterfully crafted, prepared and served with vegetables for your salads bought at the Farmers' markets. The prices are very fair especially considering the size of the appies and entrees.We'll be definitely back more often and spread the word!
We were just there last night with family.Our server Zoe was very accommodating, she made sure we were having a great time!...We will go back again.. Great Jazz music too!!!.
Horrendous food quality and very amateurish service. Started with calamari and saganaki, which were OK. For mains we had the Greek Ribs and Signature Souvlaki. To be more accurate, we had less than a quarter of our mains as both had textures and taste of food that has been pre-cooked, sat in a fridge for an extended number of days before being hastily, but only partially re-heated. Hard textures and odd flavours from luke-warm food. For our very unpleasant experience, the server, after hearing that we found the food to be awful, offered us a $10 coupon for the related Italian restaurant next door. No thanks, not if the two are managed and staffed by even remotely-related teams.
