My personal favorite is their Nasi Goreng.Nila gave some suggestions about theirs being savory “Nasi Goreng” and true enough it was really savory. I was a little bit particular with the spice and Paul made sure that it was not to mild and not too spicy “medium spice” that just right with a little kick for my palate! This is a hidden gem for sure! Would recommend this place to anybody craving for authentic Indonesian food ar Crossroads Market! ??? - Ms. M

I had the opportunity to savor the Beef Rendang, a traditional Indonesian dish. I must say the beef curry was absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender, and the flavors were on point. Their chicken noodles, coconut beef soup, and bakso malang are so good, especially with their sambel.Tante Nila and her husband are also so sweet, they gave us tons of kecap manis and sambel.
I had the Beef Curry Rendang, with Coconut Yellow Rice, Gado Gado salad with peanut sauce, with sambal. It was delicious, and I completely cleaned my plate!The sambal was just the perfect amount of heat for me, and mixed with the rice it was superb. The beef was tender and tasty, and the rice was nicely cooked and very flavourful.I would very much like to eat here again, and I recommend it heartily!

I have been several times. They sometimes are out of something, but since everything is so good, choosing something else id no problem. The gadogado is a great compliment to any dish. I usually get the rendang but I love the curry chicken. The owners are very nice and give my husband more hot sauce . It is small but mighty. I wish they had availability on weekdays. I have never been disappointed in any of the food. Just go.
Tried the beef rendang, and it was delicious. I also had the pandan pancake with sauce and it was great as well. I’ll certainly come back to try the other menu items as well.Kid-friendliness: Crossroads market has a small area for kids.

Had the beef rendang, gado gado, and kueh lapis legit/thousand layer cake. The kueh lapis was amazing, and I'd bet it is better than anywhere else in Canada (at least)!

Beef rendang was delicious! I had never had it before and after trying it today I will be back for more! Really liked the rice that came with it and the spicy chili sauce they have is great too and brings it all together.
