What a great find on the east side of Calgary!Our family favorite is the strawberry gelato! Not too sweet, it’s own distinct taste, delicious. You can even buy a 1/2 pint to take home.Not a lot of indoor seating but they have options outside if the weather is cooperating!This is our number one stop after a visit to the East Village.

This is probably the BEST ice cream i have had in Calgary. It is so so good. The guy helping me was super friendly and fun to talk to as well. The only thing to mention is that the building is old (vintage!) and not super accessible for people with physical disabilities (BIG step up!) Other than that, amazing ice cream that i dream about all the time.

My family and I tried Noto Gelato for the first time today. The man who served us behind the counter was welcoming and friendly. We had the opportunity to sample flavors prior to putting in our orders. I decided to go with the stracciatella and salted caramel in a cup. I preferred the salted caramel to the stracciatella, but both were rich, creamy and flavorful. There was a 2 for 1 deal today, which we did not know about until he rang up our orders - that was a nice surprise! We will be back again the next time we are in Calgary.Note: There is free customer parking in the back and a patio where you can enjoy your gelato in the summer.

It's my favorite ice cream, with stellar flavours! It took me a while to understand what I liked, and gelatto was the answer. Service is simple and casual, the store is easily accessible. My husband was missing pistachio ice cream here in North America, it's not easy to come around and not always done right when found, but Noto nailed it and it's just like home. Go visit and try!
Generally good service. Polite young folks. Unsure about the flavours, some folks may like them more, me, not so much. Pista is I think their best taste profile, anything else doesn't stand out pet say. Serving size is awesome for the price. Flavours tend to be on a milder non intense side, not very creamy.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of vegan flavours and cone also.
This place is so underrated in Calgary. It’s a must try. Highly recommend the black cherry and pistachio!

The BEST ice cream in Calgary, hands down. These guys are serious about gelato and back it up with some very interesting flavours. Incredibly rich and silky, and generous business hours on most days to boot. Oh and they also got pints for sale, so watch out.

I recently found Noto Gelato, and I must say, it has quickly become my absolute favorite spot for ice cream in Calgary since I try so many places. Personally, I really love their pistachio, but other flavors are great as well. The rich, nutty flavor is perfectly balanced and utterly addictive.
