I ordered a large take out order for 6 and the food was very disappointing. The ginger beef was rock hard and we threw it away, the noodles were over cooked. We didn’t eat most of it. It was not at all worth the trip and money. Won’t be returning.

The fried rice had tomatoes and was not fried. The lemon chicken was dry due to being left under the heating lamp too long. The beef and broccoli had ginger in it as well as some other vegetable.

Fried buns! The bottom is golden brown, the dough is soft, and the meat filling is sweet. As a northerner, I can't say whether it is authentic or not. Everyone likes different tastes. I really like to eat it. Children also love to eat it. They also have rice dumplings, tofu puffs, pot stickers, etc. I feel that most of them are not what I think of the taste and the differences in diet between the north and the south. I still like the pan-fried buns the most, and I have to pack another one every time.There are five in a portion, and a small bowl of ginger juice and bean curd is also included for breakfast.When I was in college, I lived close by and loved to go there on weekends. At that time, there was always a queue and I had to rush to open the door. After the epidemic, I feel that there is no queue anymore. Eating Tongxinglou's pan-fried buns really starts a weekend with a sense of satisfaction.
