Staff is never friendly. Nothings changed. Drinks are usually okay but this month is hot chocolate month and their offering was a sour cherry/white hot chocolate. It was in an Xtra small cup... like 200ml(?) Nothing fancy just poured into a cup. Tasted like a creamer chai. Place has gone downhill. Definitely needs a revamp with atmosphere and new staff.

I went here to grab coffee and a donut with a friend today at around 10:15 am and had the worst experience. First of all, their system was down, so they could only take cash or credit card, which is fine except they didn’t warn me until after I had put in my whole order. I happened to not have my credit card on hand and only had my debit card on me. The cashier gives me an impatient look and tells me to download the app and order through the app instead. My friend also asked her a simple question about their coffee, and she kept making a face as if she couldn’t be bothered to answer. After that, we sat near the bar and as I was trying to download the app, I overhear her telling her coworker, “who doesn’t have a credit card?” They kept snickering behind the bar. Mind you, we could fully hear them and they could see that we were there. I still put in the order and tipped them, but I’m just so disappointed because I actually do like their coffee but it seems that the employees at this location don’t care about their own customers. Seems like they lack basic customer service skills and manners. I hope they receive more training and fix this issue because it truly could ruin a person’s morning.

I ordered vanilla bean and for me it was extremely sweet. I only finished half. Maybe it's supposed to be sweet here but other coffee places wasn't overly sweet for comparison.

The prices are on outrage. Paid $8 for a "large" which is just slightly bigger than a Starbucks small.I was shocked at the price and decided not to tip. When the young woman saw that, the cold stare she gave me was frankly offensive. I said, thank you, as all polite people do whe receiving my cup. She sneered and walked away silently.Very disappointed.

What can I say about this cafe? First of all: it’s local! Which is always great to support. And this location has a great team with wonderful service. I am never disappointed when I order my vanilla late (iced or hot depending on the mood) and the matcha cronut? TO DIE FOR. Mango Coconut Doughnut? TO DIE FOR. But I won’t die because then I would be DENYING myself the deliciousness of these treats. Also the atmosphere? Great. Great spot to catch up on work, catch up with friends, sit there and have a little quiet moment. If you haven’t tried it: you need to. And if you have tried it, you know what I’m talking about. It’s the bomb-dot-com.

The Phil and Sébastien is my go to coffee place in the mall. The coffee is really tasty, the atmosphere has a great vibe but most importantly the staff are phenomenal! This goes especially for Charlie who went the extra mile to make me welcomed and is a big reason I keep going back!

I was there earlier this week, to purchase my first ever Hoopla Donuts. I had a great experience, as Charlie & Briony (sorry if I got this name wrong), gave me a lot of nutritional info about the donuts. Overall, it was a 5 star experience & I would definitely be back at this location of Hoopla Donuts, because of above mentioned employees!
