So disappointed to us. My friend and I went to the pho van restaurant. And I ask waitresses if you have veggiteran food. She is so ruled with me ,and I said okay I can oder rice comble with one egg and cucumber or "" Said told around $10.I don't care how much it costs. At least give the price .I asked my friend we stood up and got out the door.. She said that's okay. We won't come back .next to the wait, she ruled. Not professional service. Even I am clients alway is right. If good. And kind service. You will be good for business. Not you are so bad attitude you have good business.I show pictures comble have meat $18 .My rice only egg charged me $18It does not fail to me. Eggs only 45cent for one eggs. That $18 is too expensive to me.I stay home, cook better, clean, and save moneyThey ripped the picture..the pictures show when you oder not have item in the dishMy mom taught me when I opened business, always kind and friendly to clients, and they will support you.My mom has opened business over 60 years every one love My Mom,

Terrible experience. Any question we ask the waiter, she didn't answer and just gave us a poker face. She just ask what number do you want. Very impatience and rule. And put the food on the table forcefully. Won't come back again.

Food was not too bad, but not strong taste i would say. I had satay beef noodle, but i did not taste any peanut but only spicy (I like spicy so i was ok for the spicy but very disappointed with bland for peanut flavour). I guess the lady with glasses is the owner, but she is not friendly or kind, but rude i felt. I told her the dish size but she was nearly yelling at me and she did not give me a drink that i ordered. I would not recommend this place at all.

One of our favorite Vietnamese restaurant is closed for renovation in the Royal Oak neighborhood. I decided to give Pho Van a second try. The first time I went here, the beef pho was not quite impressive. Their soup was not very flavorful and the taste is mediocre. This time I want to give them a second chance and tried a vermicelli with beef and spring roll. It is better than the pho. However, the waitress mixed up our orders with the other customers. She had to come back to our table couple of times and still couldn’t get it sorted out. At the end, the chef has to come out to help her get things straight. The restaurant is quite barebones. There aren’t even background music. So you cannot have any private conversations in the restaurant because other customers can hear everything across the other side of the room.

Best Pho in the Northwest. I made this comment after visiting more than ten times and confirming his quality. The place is very clean, the service is good, the boss is very friendly, the food is generous, the beef bone soup base is fresh and sweet, and the price is reasonable. I have been to nearby Vietnamese restaurants, but now I only go to this one for Vietnamese noodles.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our first visit to Pho Van was a delightful surprise! Stopped by while waiting for tire service next door, and it exceeded our expectations. The broth and rolls are outstanding, even compared to our usual spots in SW. The service, especially from the charming woman attending to us, added to the positive experience. If you're in the area and appreciate Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Van is a gem worth trying! ?? #PhoDelight #HiddenGem #VietnameseCuisine

The menu is outdated, the price has gone up significantly. Saray chicken sauce i had got for take out isn't real satay sauce you'd expect.

We have been coming here for over 2 years, probably twice a month. We love this restaurant, and it's by far the best Vietnamese food in Calgary. The staff is so friendly (Amy makes you feel so welcome and at home) and the owner is and passionate about the quality of the food and the service. Thank you Pho Van for delicious food, amazing service, and warm welcome!
