I've eaten here multiple times and it's consistently delicious. It's abound 20$ for a large shawarma wrap and a drink, which is more then enough to fill you up. I personally find the bite size plate to be my favorite dish they serve.

Food is decent. I’m getting tired of coming here and seeing there’s still 5-15 mins left before close and they’re closed early. You should change your business hours to 8:30pm instead of 9 because everytime I get off work and try to make it, it’s closed. I get sometimes people get tired and want to leave work early but 4 times in a row is crazy. I won’t be returning, the food is not even that worth it. I’m just writing a review because when I called to ask why they’re closed early again she said ma’am it’s 9 and it was 8:53. I’ve gone to shawarma palace right for close never have any other places closed early. Change your business hours I beg. Because there were 4 cars outside wondering why it says 9 on the sign and online and it was in fact closed.

Pita Basket is a hidden gem in Calgary! The owner's warm hospitality adds an extra touch to the dining experience. The fettah is incredibly flavorful, and the pita pies are a must-try. Pita Basket here is amazing , we are new to Calgary and we have found our donair spot for sure. Love the food it tastes so delicious and huge portions . The owner is so sweet she made us homemade pita to try and it was so delicious with the garlic sauce. Yum! second time back this week and we are loving it. The meats are fresh and the flavors have an authentic taste with the pickled veggies in the donair. Hands down best donair we have ever had. Thank you!!!!
