I love Primary Colours, so much in fact I went back twice in a week. It seems a lot more relaxed than other brunch spots and runs at a slower pace.I haven’t explored very far away from a classic eggs Benny, with only going to mushroom hash with a poached egg and hollandaise on it.Need to book in advance on weekends, well worth it.

We had the six course tasting menu. The service was excellent. The courses were explained and our drinks were always topped off. The execution and plating was excellent. I enjoyed the dining experience and would come back.

What an amazing surprise to find such excellent food and great service in this local, family operated restaurant. Truffle French fries (topped with popcorn) and Beets with a glass of wine on a Wednesday night. We will SO be back for more.

Went from brunch and got their albacore tuna. It was good but they need to add more sauce. Also the carrots are a bit hard vs the potatoes. Do not order the pasta for the kids, it’s just regular Mac and cheese (small portion) for $11! Service was great and I love the ambiance. Coffee is also excellent. Overall a good (but you guessed it, pricey) experience.

Really enjoyed brunch today at Primary Colours. The menu is uniquely arranged with fresh and local foods. Very healthy vibe and a willingness to accommodate diet/preferences. Atmosphere was light and welcoming. Excellent wait staff. Recommend.

Went for brunch on Sunday and was excited to see what they had. The service was okay but nothing special. The space was beautifully built with comfy chairs. But I was not impressed with the food and cocktails we received. Glad I tried it but wont go back to eat.

Second Time (Feb 2024):There has been no improvement on the food since its opening. Why name a dish "mushroom hash" when you can't find the mushroom. While you can see the truffled oil in the cream of mushroom soup, the soup was over salted and rendered the truffled oil just oil. Service was decent.First Time (Just opened):Oh no!! While Monogram serves great coffees, their "food concept" needs to go back to the drawing board. Went there for a quick lunch and ordered the Tamago Egg Salad Sandwich and Celery Root Soup from the "counter" menu. Both were bland. Tamago style egg with pickled celery tasted weird. The bread was dry. The soup not only looked but tasted unappertizing. It sat under the heat lamp for a good 10min while the waitress walked pass it.

I was visiting from Edmonton and was able to enjoy both dinner and brunch from Primary Colours in the same weekend. The presentation and taste were both exceptional. I really appreciated the variety of options and the coffee was topnotch! I recommend trying a little bit everything, you won't be disappointed. This has officially become my new favourite restaurant and a must visit whenever in Calgary.

New Menu order the Sturgeon dish and the fish lacked flavour and was very dry and chewy.

Excellent food (celiac friendly), service/staff! and of course decor - plush and very comfortable seating/vibe. This place is very cool. Being from Vancouver, we need more places like this.
