What has happened to this restaurant??? It used to be very good but I ordered from there yesterday and had the saddest, most disappointing Indian food ever. The sauces weee watery and almost flavourless and the rice portion was laughable - a tiny portion of peas palao for $5.99 that was mushy and definitely not “the best quality basmati rice”! This has been a go-to restaurant for years for us but it’s off our list now!

I loved this little restaurant. It is definitely a hidden gem.Amazing Indian food (Always most important), but backed by an extremely friendly family in a calm and private ambiance. Absolutely a must try. You'll be glad you did.

Ordered butter chicken and beef curry. Butter chicken wasn't creamy, bland flavor and was diluted. Beef curry was very diluted with minimal flavor. Aloo peas was tasty. Naan bread was overcooked and burnt in some areas with very little flavor.

Take out. For the first time at this place the food was not flavorful at all. Butter chicken and the egg plant was extremely diluted and not worth the small portions. I've been eating here 20 years. The nan is the best in Calgary still.I had visitors from out of town and wanted to treat them to the taste I remember. Wondering why it wasn't the usual great tasteful food.

Had the beef curry, chicken tikka masala, and shrimp korma - curries and very thin. I could take it or leave it.

We've been coming to Puspa since it opened. They used to be so good, you could smell the fresh food being prepared when you walked in the door. Now, the restaurant is ice cold inside until the first customers arrive. Only then do they turn up the heat. Also, there is no smell of fresh food being cooked, which makes one suppose that the food is all frozen and reheated to order. And finally, the person who seated us and took our orders kept calling us "guys" when there were no men in our group, and really, we're middle aged women. Don't call us "guys". This isn't McD's. The food was okay, very heavy with oil and not as flavourful as it used to be. Not sure if there's been a change of cook/recipes since we were last here.
