Great place and great people. People are talking about the place is not children friendly, that’s no true. Children should be thought not to run around restaurant. Very patient with non Asians that do not understand their menu. Great job

Quality over quantity. One of the better Japanese restaurants in Calgary, and definitely the best one in the NW. Their ingredients are always fresh, and high quality. If you are after quantity over quality, then go to one of the Chinese owned Japanese restaurants in Royal Oak, or Kinjo.

We ordered take out. But the sea weed on our rolls are all soft. Overall was okay

This was our first date location. And now it’s our anniversary spot! It’s the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is always fresh and delicious. Our favorite sushi place for sure. Service is always great and friendly.

Quality was good. The service was ok until last dine in visit. They forgot a piece of sushi. When I asked the server, she went to check my order paper and came back asking me, "did you eat it?". Oh well, I would know if I ate it or not. Sounded like blaming me for eating that piece of sushi and asking one more. Why would I do that?

Omg idk why I haven’t been here before!!! Roku has some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time! Everything is so fresh and so well made! Pro tip: go on a Thursday or Friday or all of there specials will sell out !!

This is my favourite sushi spot in Calgary! I keep coming back for the unagi don. It's definitely pricey but it's worth it to me because I haven't had another in Calgary where the unagi melts in your mouth like this one does! I love trying their seasonal specials too. The scallop sashimi was so good and their sashimi in general is so fresh. You gotta try the udon too!

Fresh and delicious Japanese food with good service. The restaurant has Covid 19 protocol in place. Their tables spaced out accordingly. Reservations are a must to secure your table.

Highly recommended place for ?, sashimi and japanese food! The sashimi is fresh and tasty! I am not a big fan of sashimi but I really enjoy the yummy sashimi serving in Roku!

Amazing food. Best place in Calgary for authentic Japanese. Sashimi is fresh, best quality since I lived in Vancouver 10 years ago. Highly recommend.

Great to have an excellent quality Japanese restaurant so far out in the suburbs. The food here is amazing! Prices might be a bit higher than most of the other Japanese restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive, but you get what you pay for in quality.

Just what we needed. This is probably the best sushi I've had in Calgary in a very long time. I heard great reviews and finally had a chance to check it out, I'm so glad I did.

I came for dinner on Saturday, and I really enjoyed the food. Everything seemed to be prepared with care, and the fish tasted fairly fresh. The hamachi is not the best I've ever had, it was a little bit chewy compared to my favorite elsewhere. Their "big" rolls really are huge and difficult to eat with one bite, also they did not have one of my favorites which is dynamite roll. Also I found the wild sockeye salmon unpleasant in texture and flavor, but this could just be personal preference and not a reflection on their fish. I would definitely love to come back here, but I'm not sure if I could convince myself to pay the premium price. There seems to be very good fish at a few restaurants in Calgary, yet this is the most expensive I've ever found, so for me the price is not worth it.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Staff are so friendly, food is excellently prepared. If you want sushi in the NW of Calgary this is my favorite.

Their special sashimi never disappoints. Some people may say it is overpriced but, some of sashimi is hard to see in Calgary. They know how to handle it and how to serve in great quality. Love it!
