was here 10 months ago and was more than impressed. Met with owner and discussed some changes. Nothing has changed other than poor service, higher prices sub par food and smaller portions. Im sure I wont be reviewing in 10 months. Arrogance as an owner is a bad thing.

Scarpetta has the best pizza in town! When they were shut down for about a year, my date and I tried over a dozen other similar pizzas and none could compare. The crust is so chewy yet fluffy...mmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it!! We are thrilled that Scarpetta is back. The staff is beyond amazing, the food is spectacular - couldn't ask for anything more!Wheelchair accessibility: main floor, no obstructions that I can see

Update Mar-2021: recently enjoyed a great dinner of polpette (meatballs) and focaccia, fresh and tangy sauce! Fantastic!Love the gnocchi at Scarpetta Italian Eatery in Calgary, fantastic! My favourite pizza of late is the New Yorker - delish! Friendly atmosphere and great service, I am a regular at this great Inglewood restaurant.

Five stars easily: amazing night in an awesome neighbourhood (we walked before and after for a chat and help digesting the food). Our waiter was very nice, don't know his name but I know he ate Russel Sprouts as a kid <- thank you.Proper table manners, packed our food for us instead of throwing the box on the table, properly packed the used utensils from our appetizers compared to other restaurants that just re-use them, and everything that you'd expect from a high end restaurant. It might seem redundant but my last 5 restaurant experiences in yyc have been shocking, it is like everyone has forgotten their manners.Not this one!! strongly recommend it and will be coming back

I have dined in and and ordered multiple times from Rocco at Scarpetta. The pizza is unbelievable with a generous portion of top quality ingredients. The dough is also to die for - super crispy yet fluffy and chewy. The recent renovations give the place an amazing ambiance and it's perfect for date night or a girls night out. Rocco has ensured my experience is top notch every time not only for myself but for my family and friends who now frequent the restaurant often as well. Can't recommend this restaurant enough and pro tip - order the gorgonzola risotto balls you won't regret it.

The atmosphere as soon you walk in to Scarpetta’s is instantly friendly and warm. The server was attentive and answered our questions about the menu. The food was quickly served and delicious. When we went to compliment the chef, he was very friendly and kind and grateful, as a restaurant owner, for our patronage. I would support Scarpetta’s and Rocco (the chef) any day.
