$11 for a small order of sweet potato fries was a bit excessive, was there watching horse races for 3 hours and seen my server twice, waited 25 minutes after asking for my bill. I suggest if you wait more then 15 you should probably just leave. Atmosphere was good, races were good, service bad.

I went to Shanks for a Birthday party last night.We had a good time! The location is fairly large, and includes a variety of arcade games (including some popular shooting games), mini golf, pool tables and VLTs.We had a large table for our party, and the service was prompt, friendly and consistent. Our server’s name was Brook (Brooklyn), and she was very nice, had a great memory for our orders and names, and made sure to check on us throughout the night.I also noticed the other servers were very friendly, and always had a smile for me when I walked by.The food I tried was decent. I had the meat lover’s pizza, pair of dips and flatbread and greek dry ribs. My partner shared with me and also had a steak and potato soup. I wouldn’t say anything stood out for any good or bad reasons. The pizza toppings were tasty, but it had a bit of a generic taste and texture to the crust. The dry ribs were par, the flatbread and dips were pretty good.I liked the beer menu, it had a few choices I enjoyed. The Bubble stash IPA was my favourite of the night.Overall, we had fun. The place had a lively energy with groups of various ages enjoying their nights. The service stood out to me, so I will thank Brook for that. She handled our party professionally with a great attitude.I look forward to coming back!Parking: Several medium/large lots surround the pub.

This place is amazing! Lots of fun, and let me tell you the food is genuinely great quality and size. I haven’t had anything here that wasn’t mouth watering. With neighbouring pubs there is no comparison! Better yet they ACTUALLY do green beer on St pattys I love it!

Peyton is 10/10, best service we've had in a loooong time. Mini golf guy was a little disappointing as he wanted to charge full price for an 18mo old to golf, def should have kid pricing. Fish n chips are very good ! Great place for kids

Haven't been here for years and decided to stop by for a bite to eat. The reason for 3 stars on the atmosphere and over all 4 instead of 5 is that during the day, they allow kids in there now, which I wasn't expecting. I do understand that in this day and age, they need every customer they can get. But I may have gone somewhere else if I knew before had. So great for families now, but if you want adults only break, it might not be the best choice.

Went on a Wednesday for wings, they were good but could use more seasoning for some flavors as the Cajun was fairly plain. The half off on poutines was well worth it on its own and the drinks were great. The location itself was lively with lots to do around the building and the service was great, attentive to all their patrons.
We came for a corporate event and I had a blast! Leslie was taking care of us and not only did she remember everybody's name, she was personable and super friendly. I am blown away at her service and just what an amazing job she did! Leslie you are the winner of the night!❤️ thank you! Shanks, we will be back! So much fun!
