Stopped for a quick grab while we were in the city, and I couldn't recommend this place enough. Amazing service with generous portions and the bestest beef shawarma. Down to earth owner, so warm and welcoming!! Will definitely come back :)

I came in just before closing and asked if they were still serving which they replied that they were. I got a chicken platter, and I’ve gotten this before, then gave them a tip because I felt bad that they served me right before closing. When I got home and started eating, to my upsetting surprise, they didn’t give me any rice at all. I thought to myself that it would’ve been nice to know that they didn’t have rice or maybe already sold out before I bought this meal. If the man serving me would’ve at least let me know beforehand I might’ve been a bit more okay with it. But to be served chicken and veggies only was a bit of a downer to me. Personally, I won’t be going back.

Food was mediocre (overcooked rice, dry meats, and lukewarm); I threw out over half the platter because it was just so unappealing. MMA playing on the TV was annoying and didn’t make for a pleasant dining atmosphere. Service was friendly, though.There are lots of good shawarma places in Calgary, but this isn’t one of them.
