We were visiting our kids from Edmonton over the weekend and wanted to take them out for Shawarma. We chose this place because of reviews. We were VERY disappointed!!! ? Chicken, beef and lamb were terribly dry and cut way too small (In cubes! Since when is Shawarma cut in cubes?! ?)I actually couldn't tell the difference between lamb & beef. It seemed like we were eating week old food, as it was not fresh at all. Sweet sauce tasted off and was runny. Potatoes were dry. Portions were extremely small compared to other Shawarma restaurants we have been to. The baklava was dry and old and had no taste.The atmosphere was dirty, no toilet paper in the bathrooms and you had to use Kleenex for napkins. Paid $90 for a crappy meal, definitely not worth it ?

Our very large family stopped here late one evening. The staff was great they stayed late and let us finish eating, and the food was so tasty. They even did not mind the huge mess our kids left behind.

Got the donair platter, the donair was below average and the rice tasted old. Potatoes also weren’t fully cooked. Lots of better shawarma places close by. I hope the owners just take a step back and try to fix these issues so that they can have a decent restaurant. I’m rooting for local businesses but this place definitely needs works

This is the first and last time I’m buying from this place. I paid $8 for a plate of tabouli regular size and all I got was a sample of tabouli. I get the same order everywhere else in the city and it’s 4x what I got at Shawarma King. What a rip off!

Ordered beef platter + large garlic potatoes (for delivery, so this may not be accurate if you go in). Portion sizes were small compared to other shops. Hummus had the consistency of play-doh. Meat was very dry and there was not enough sauce to make up for it. My “large” garlic potatoes container was only half full (maybe 7 pieces of potato TOPS) - that could have been the delivery driver but it wasn’t very cool. Garlic potatoes were pretty good though.

Wow this place is great!! My husband is working across the street and I went with him to work I really had to use a washroom so I used theirs. I assumed that I would have to buy something as I used their washroom but all I had was 4$ the young man working was so kind he let me go and he even gave me a sample of their deserts when I get paid I’ll definitely be coming here to support this business that’s the kind of love that I like to see from people

I’ve been here a few times before and I will def be back. The falafel wrap never disappoints, and I always appreciate the friendly and personal service. This particular visit I was generously gifted a fresh steamy falafel ball topped with thick savory tahini sauce to enjoy while my wrap was finished up and pressed. Yum, what a treat! I was looking forward to the wrap—the full range of toppings have always been fresh and assembled to order, and the falafel balls are the perfect mix of crispy and chewy. Didn’t think to take a photo before it was gone, too tasty ;) Thank you for a delicious and pleasant experience, can’t wait to see you again soon!
I got one at 130 today and the guy bunt my trio large shawarma. It tasted so delicious except for the bunt meat! It was bad and I threw it out. $27! Not good for business at all. It’s like he didn’t even care and I waited the 20 minutes to have the fresh lamb because he said they make it all fresh. Not fresh at just burnt black!
