There was a promotion offered on the app for “buy one, get one free” on March 21 between 12:00pm-6:00pm.I went to the location in Calgary at Deerfoot Meadows and got in line for the drive thru at 5:44pm. I got to the speaker at 5:55pm and placed my order for two drinks. The staff member told me my total and I asked about the “buy one get one free” discount and she said it would be applied when I got to the window and my app was scanned. I got to the window and she scanned my app and then quoted me full price again for the drinks. I asked again about the “buy one get one free” and she said it was no longer valid because it was after 6:00pm. It was not even 6:05pm) I asked why it would not be valid when I placed the order BEFORE 6:00pm and she said quite smugly said “that’s the way the promotion works”. I told her to forget it then and she said “no problem” and I drove away. I assume the drinks I ordered were then thrown away?I then called and asked to speak to a manager and spoke to someone named “Brennen” or “Rennan” and I explained to him what happened and he said that the promotion ended at 6:00pm and they had no way to honour it. I said that was pretty unfair when I had gotten in line and placed my order before 6:00pm but because they were slow and the line took forever that I was penalized this way. Not to mention the fact that I sat in line for 15 minutes and left with nothing. He was very unapologetic and offered his district managers phone number.This whole experience was extremely frustrating, I felt the staff was condescending and dismissive, and I think it’s pretty poor customer service not to honour a promotion because your drive thru is slow.

Friendly service, I usually order ahead on the app. I don't really understand why the app says "order ahead unavailable" when the location isn't closed for another hour ?I usually get the lemonade dragon drink, and when I check "light ice" I usually get half a cup, full of ice.I like enough ice just to keep my drink cool, and not a heaping cup of ice where I get three or four sips and it's done ?
