Atmosphere is nice but then it ends there. Bad service. None of the servers smile, not friendly at all, something you want to see at a local pub. They don’t come by to see if you need anything else. Ordered wings and they tasted like refried from the day before, dry and hard. Ordered a burger as well and it was undercooked. The time before this, they ran out of the happy hour lager. Not recommended.

I went to the pub and thought it was very cool, I had a breakfast else where but the place was clean the beer was cold and it was quiet. Service was on guard. When I'm in town I'm going again. This place is not high-end and I like it that way.

I was looking forward to an old English pub however I was left disappointed. The wings were either overcooked or raw that was provided at our table. The service was fine however there was no apology or an acknowledgement to fix the order. This place is clearly cannot handle a large crowd as the staff seemed overwhelmed.

Should’ve looked at most recent reviews before coming here! We ordered wings and some nachos. The wings were definitely not up to standard. The first set tastes like old oil and burnt. My friend ordered the second set and it was clearly undercooked/raw meat. They mentioned it to the server but she opted to make an excuse then took it away and never returned to the table. There was no apology or attempt to make it right. The nachos were fine as they appeared to come out of a pre made package. The beer was also okay. The service time was also a bit long for the number of people present at the time of ordering.Cannot recommend this place if you want a decent wing night. For the price it was definitely not worth it.

Very expensive for low quality rations. My husband was taken here to celebrate his birthday. Not only did they claim their 7 wings as a “pound” of wings but the $21 Shepard’s pie he ordered for takeaway was equivalent to the leftovers you would take home after a normal size adult meal. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend.

Strange place, dirty glasses, happy hour wings are 7 wings in a basket. $20 burger is the same as a saddledome burger with some McCain fries. All around not good.

Today was my mother in laws birthday. Finally reached business after several attempts of calling from New Jersey. I had wanted to order some food for her since she lives in Sundre and has mobility problems. She is from Mitcham (London Area) originally. We had be been there twice and had enjoyed the food until today's experience. When I told the woman who answered the phone that I wanted to set up a delivery and I needed time to talk, first she said they don't deliver. I replied I knew that, and wanted to set up a pickup by my brother in law. She thought I was a scammer and wouldn't take the time to hear me out. Because of this woman and her tone a) never return and b) and withdrawing my recommendations that I had made to my family in Alberta. I called my wife immediately after the call and said the woman was a "total bitch." I have bought an alternate gift and will be mailing it tomorrow. Your bar has lost not just our business, but five people that could have been regulars. To quote my wife, you can "Sod Off!"PS, I wanted to order Fish and Chips and Shepard's pie. I believe that would have been about 40cdn. Sages (NYC deli) may get her order instead. Look them up if you wish.

Now this is a true hole in the wall. An absolute relic from the past. You just go.

Never been before. Love the home style atmosphere but from there it’s down hill. There were 4 of us and we ordered a beer that was featured. They only had enough to serve 2. And those 2 were flat. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and disinterested in being our server. We ordered our food, would have ordered more if she hadn’t walked away before we were finished ordering. Our second choice of beer came out, one of the few that they had available and it was flat. We decided we were best off with bottles. We ordered the platter. Nachos, ribs & wings were all flavourless and dry. Worst wings ever. Honestly don’t know how this place stays home. I think this would be the ultimate challenge for Gordon Ramsey to turn around. Sorry, we won’t be back.

Hadn't been for many years. If you like your choice of many beers... head on over. Been hidden in plain sight for decades.

Good food and pet friendly patio. They even brought a bowl of ice water for my dogs.

It was hot and I did not want to cook so I googled fresh sandwiches. Many options came up but I decided on The Dog & Duck. It was a fair travel for me but worth every minute. Rustic but clean. Maryanne (I hope I spelled the name correctly) was the server. Very nice lady. 2 glasses of house white and a chicken/fetta wrap with a fresh green salad. All were so good. Definitely worth a return trip.Kid-friendliness: Apparently kids are permitted during the day

My friends and I spent like 2-3 hours at the pub on Wednesday July 26, everything ok, until we wanted to talk to the so called "manager" and instead of listening to his customers (us), he started yelling and swearing at us in the rudest possible manner ("... pay you fu...ing bill and get out of here..."), even people in other tables looked concern about the behaviour of the person "in charge" of the place, I regret not bringing my phone out and taking a video of this guy who obviously refused to give his name to me when asked with a: "I am not fu...ing giving you my name".The only thing we wanted to tell him is that somebody (who apparently no one knew, but was able to put the order in the system) had offered us a round of beers on that person, since they were short of the ones we had ordered, we never refused to pay, we only wanted an explanation on what had happened and to clarify that someone was doing that, someone who had access to the system to put an order in, even if they don't know him and in case that was not possible to do, to get the attention of the manager and avoid future misunderstandings. But he refused to listen and decided to treat us like garbage. It was our first and obviously last time in there, we were able to meet a family with young kids at the place and I am worry about the safety of the people if this person behaves similarly again, specially in front of children.I do not recommend this place at all.
