The restaurant is newly open in town, recommended by a friend and we were really amazed by the chicken tikka masala! The food is amazing, I would call it the best in town. Highly recommended!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option available!

My family and I are visiting Calgary and we were craving some Korean food and I found Tiger K on Instagram. So I made reservations and came here for dinner. It's not the most family friendly restaurant but luckily we weren't the only ones here with little ones. I can see Tiger K as a place to go for date night or a girls night out. Staff are super nice and friendly. My kid spilled his water all over the table and the staff were very accommodating and did not give us a hard time. So we were very thankful for that.Atmosphere had dimmed lighting. Tiger K was very clean and service was great. Food came out well prepared/presented.Ordered:Bossam - I highly recommend it if you love bossam and need to get your fix.Beef Short Ribs - Meat is very soft and lightly seasoned.Oysters on the Shell - Very fresh & Tasty!Tips:*No wifi.*Restroom available for customers.*Credit card and cash accepted.*Street Parking.*Reservation accepted.*Alcohol served.

I love, love, love this place. My favourite is definitely the lunch specials. Such a good bang for your buck.If you ever find yourself there on a cold day, please try the gamja tang. It’s a spicy pork neck soup (has bones, you were warned), a bowl or hot rice and banchan (side dishes). The side dishes were unique and not the same kind that you see everywhere else. Service is super friendly and willing to explain the different Korean food options.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at TigerK. We got the raw marinated crab and it is well deserved of the hype it gets. It’s spicy, and very easy to eat, our server provided us with gloves which was great as it does get a little messy. We also had gamjatang which was also amazing, the meat fell right off the bone making it easy to eat compared to other gamjatang I’ve had in Calgary which tends to be hard to separate from the bone, I only wish there was a bit more potato in it, but there was no shyness of meat! The spicy cold noodles were not what I was expecting at all! I was expecting bibim naengmyeon (buckwheat noodles) and did not get that, however, I love their version of cold noodles. It came with three different types of sashimi (octopus, scallops and I’m pretty sure tuna but I could be wrong), it was an amazing way to end our meal and highly recommend giving it a shot. We tried their cocktails as well and each one was great, the bartender definitely knows what they’re doing! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

first time here and it was just okay. i think the ambiance is so beautiful here and id definitely come back for that reason. the food was okay, some dishes just decent and others had great flavour. the service however was the biggest let down. perhaps it was a bit understaffed, but my group and i felt abandoned most of the evening and had to flag down to ask for things multiple times. automatic gratuity already applied, so you'd expect a bit better service for that reason.

Amazing food and cocktails! I have been to a lot of Korean restaurants in Calgary and lived in Korea. This place is bang on and takes you right back to the soul of Korean food!

First time I dined here with my friend for lunch and the service and food were great. But this second time I came in with friends for a special occasion for dinner the service was non existant and yet they still charged us a grat, the pork and seafood pancake were good but everything else was just okay. But the rice was stale like it was sitting out for too long and is just sad for a Korean restaurant. We asked for new rice and the what came out was more stale rice. All in all I would not come back or recommend this place, there is better Korean food with better service.

The marinated crab was very bland and spoiled, so I changed my order, but it took about 30 minutes for the new order to arrive... and the rib soup was oily...If the crab has a sharp taste like cider, it has gone bad. You should be careful.
