My daughter recommended this place as she has been living in Calgary for 3 yrs. The place was lively. We were lucky to get seats right away as the place filled up soon after. Ordered flights of beers which were fantastic and nachos. Nachos were perfect for beer drinking.

Had the chicken avocado sandwich with a carrots and ginger soup. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Well portioned and delicious. The soup had the perfect amount of pepper content and not too much sharpness of the ginger. As someone who vooked for thirteen years I was thoroughly impressed with the food. Staff was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable.

Wild Rose is a nice brewery with some tasty food. We stopped here a few years back when traveling through Calgary and it was a welcome respite from hours on the road. The brewery has a casual and inviting atmosphere and the workers were very nice. We tried an IPA and a raspberry ale and the IPA was better overall than the fruit beer, but we enjoyed them both overall. We had some French onion soup and chips and queso and both were very tasty overall. We didn't get to stay too long since we still had a lot of traveling to do, but we would definitely stop here again when we're in Calgary and we'd recommend it to anyone who's in the area.

Great site for a quick snack and large glass of Tap beer. Our dog was welcomed with fresh dishes of cool water. Umbrellas need a tilt feature. Polite and prompt service. Wish Sherwood Park had something similar.
