Oh man everything here is amazing. I got a mango mousse cake, Earl grey cookies, and a curry beef tart. The cookies and tart were so buttery and melt in your mouth and flavorful. The cake was light and not too sweet! Service was fast and helpful (clear instructions on how to store and serve the cake based on when we were eating it), and attentive to allergies.

I don't know how this place got 4.5 points. The cream choux was wet, and the piece cake and cream were crumbly... I haven't tried the whole cake, so I don't know, but it was like a few days old cake and cream puff.I wanted to eat a delicious dessert, but I was disappointed.

Sooo good!!! I've only tried the mousse and cheese cake styles here but the fresh mango cream cake was a league above the others. The owner lady was super sweet and let me sample some of their cake too! It was packed with mangoes both inside and outside, and the sponge was fluffy and delicious ?. This cake is only available from March - July - make sure to try one! Their fresh mango cream pie hits the spot too and is only $15!

I ordered Mix Fruit Fresh Cream for birthday. The cake looks beautiful exactly what it looks like in the picture. Based on feedback: it is delicious, the fruits are fresh, the cream is soft and melts in the mouth and it just has the right amount of sweetness.

Called in to make cake orders and it was an easy process - owners speak in Cantonese and English - polite and well mannered.The shop itself is small but holds items such as prepared cakes to go, single cake slices and also cookies of different kinds (all homemade of course). Trying their cakes and cookies (sesame seaweed snaps, mooncakes, fresh fruit chestnut cake and green tea fruit cake), there has been nothing but great experiences with them.You can pay as you pick up or if you're ordering in person, pay ahead if you like. Very reasonable pricing (dependent on what you're buying - more fresh fruit or mousse based). The cakes didn't come off as too sweet and was perfect for the Asian style cake I was looking for. I also appreciated that there was more cake than whip cream - ratio was perfect. Would definitely order from here again.

For special occasions, my family and I used to always get cakes from this pastry shop, but recently, I've noticed that the service has become incredibly unpleasant and unsatisfying. We're going to start ordering from the place where we used to buy cakes since they have excellent service, and we won't be ordering from somewhere where a regular paying customer is getting yelled at for just clarifying what they want.Despite my fairness as a consumer and my unwavering support for small businesses, our business will not be based here but rather somewhere in the community.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Yamato Bakery for the first time and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The cheesecake was a standout, perfectly balanced in sweetness and absolutely delicious. The pies and cookies did not disappoint either, each one was flavorful and left me wanting more!But what truly made my visit special was the friendly and welcoming service. The lady who runs the place, I believe, is the one who bakes these delightful treats. Her passion for baking is evident in every bite. I highly recommend Yamato Bakery to anyone looking for homemade, quality baked goods. Can't wait for my next visit!

Easy ordering process and the staff was very friendly when I picked up the cake. The Green Tea Mix Fruit cake was fluffy, fresh, and wasn’t too sweet! The presentation was pretty as well. I would definitely get more cakes from here. :)

U usually buy cake from here and ppl are nice. I tried to compliment the lady about her cakes and said they were much better than Safeway. Then she turned into.the soup natzi and I lost all interest in this bakery.I mean I usually buy $60 worth of bakeries. Can't even give a compliment these days ,what's the world come to.Put this bakery on my black list now.

There's a small shop that someone recommended to me for its variety of cookies, slice cakes, and whole cakes. It doesn't have exceptionally unique flavors, but if you're interested in tasting various types of desserts, I would recommend it.
