Wonderful food and atmosphere!This may be the best dinning experience I have ever had. The table next to us ordered a meat platter that looked fantastic and when we saw it they offered us to taste it. It was absolutely delicious. Best Ethiopian food ever and one of my best meals ever.

We are visiting from Salmon Arm and discovered this place. What a gem!! Well worth checking out. The place was well lit, seating for about 60 people. Need to check online menu to order. Server was helpful.We ordered the combination plate. OH MY, it was delicious, but huge, we could only eat about half.The others in the restaurant were warm and friendly. Nice atmosphere.I highly recommend Yegna.

Place looks topical Ethiopian restaurant that is located in Ethiopia. Atmosphere is amazing. Beautiful arts and furniture. Most of all the food. I can't compare it with any other place. It is flavourful great cook!! We ate a lot of food. The beef RIB is so huge I have to take it with me. Underpriced for the amount of food and for the quality. I will be a regular and recommend it to anyone that wants to eat something different from what we are use to in Canada. Sharable for a group and great for a party celebration.

Had the pleasure of eating at Yegna... This was my first Ethiopian experience, so I'm not by no means an expert, but I had a great experience here. The place has a very cozy atmosphere and the food is excellent. I ordered the platter for two which was fantastic value for $50 as it could have potentially fed 4! For those unfamiliar, Ethiopian food is generally finger food which makes for a very unique dining experience.If you are looking for a unique experience, fun atmosphere, and delicious /unique food try Yegna!

Oh WOW !!!!Found this place by accident, a truly nice find.Ended up ordering 6 meat dishes and 2 vegetable dishes, then the coffee round at the end of the meal... Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and such helpful staff.Had the "dinosaur ribs" ... everyone needs to try theseHad a bone in short rib dish, THE SEASONINGS out of this World, so so tasty..My favorite dish, was a vegetable dish, with cabbage, potatoes and seasonings, so so good with the Injera.. and enjoying everything this place had to offer.Will definitely be going back..We spent almost 3.5 hours eating, visiting and enjoying everything this place had to offer.Thank you Staff of Yegna's Restaurant.

My partner and I eat here quite regularly. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We often order a mixed platter that comes with a variety of vegetable and meat dishes. The food is always great. After dinner you can’t beat the coffee. Highly recommend it.

Service is part of the experience with coffee roasted at table and of course the experience of eating together. We had the variety plate and it was fabulous... veg and meat dishes tasted amazing. The ambiance is great as well. Good job everybody - especially the chef!
Ordered the combo platter for 2 - like tripled checked with our waitress of what we ordered, even pointed at the menu. The platter tasted fantastic, 5/5! But then when the bill came, we knew we got upcharged…paying a higher price is no probs, just tell us. But sneaking that in is a no-no no matter how much I want to support a local business. Won’t be going back.

Yegna Ethiopian Cuisine has a very good ambience and the people at this restaurant (Special mention : HAWI) make your experience at the restaurant very unique. They were super friendly and explained all the menu items for us. I highly recommend thier strong Ethiopian Coffee and do check it out yourself.

The staff at Yegna are so nice an accommodating, they let us stay late and served us some amazing food. The atmosphere is excellent and cozy, super comfortable too. Will definitely be returning for a longer visit next time. Food was perfect, so flavorful and we were able to try so many different dishes, can't wait to go back!
