We had the curry chicken wrap, the chicken salad sandwich and the carrot cake. For the price point the presentation was slightly disappointing and the curry wrap was lacking in complex flavour and had few veggies. The chicken sandwich was good, but small for the price. It was the sort of food we could easily make at home for a lot less money. The carrot cake was really a large muffin, it was very good and the frosting was not too sweet. For almost $7, it was good, but not the best carrot cake I have ever had.

I enjoyed visiting Black Dog Cafe while staying in Canmore. I enjoyed several lattes, excellent. We also got a trail bar and a roast beef sandwich for our hike, also good. Nice local coffee shop!Oh - how could I forget ...get the carrot cake muffin!
