I called Spice hut today to order 5 Garlic naan but they said we cannot accept your order. Its the policy now you have to order curry as well but Why?. Its pathetic. If i need only naan why i am gonna order anything else. Anywhere in Canada you can buy anything even its $1. I was your regular customer always order $52-$60 food. But i am never gonna come back as you don’t respect customers. YOU ARE NOT SERVING FREE THEN WHY ARE YOU ASKING EXTRAS

Food was good, but service was bad. We went there at around 8:45pm, visibly empty, and server was trying to pack up. Maybe she had a bad day, and we arrived at her closing time. But that’s no excuse for being rude to one of my friends. One of my friends had a coffee cup from Tim Hortons in her hand, and we sat on one of the tables. The server, visibly upset that we came at this time, told her “outside things not allowed” pointing at the cup. Come on! The cup was empty, we just forgot to trash it. But the first impression left a bad taste and we were about to leave because we felt embarrassed (or were made to feel that way), but then other server already put plates and water on our table and she was super nice. So we stayed just because of her. But there is a way of saying to obey rules, and bringing a cup of coffee to a restaurant is not such a big deal when restaurant is almost empty at closing hours. Nothing against that server, but as a customer, we felt bad the way she pointed out that we don’t follow rules. There was no sign which said “not allowed to drink coffee from Hortons”. Maybe she’s just following the rules, but at the cost of pissing of customers. Thank you.

The food was soo delicious. I absolutely recommend spice hut to everyone who is looking for indian food in Canmore. We ordered a bunch of food for our dinner, and every single food item tasted really good. I never ever had such a tasty food. The garlic naans were well cooked and soft enough to eat. The food, service, and the ambiance were incredible. The food was so good we went THREE days in a row and asked to meet the chef! Generous portions, great spice levels and flavours. A must visit if you're in the area, especially after a day of skiing. The law of diminishing experiential returns does not apply here. It is that good.

Ordered take out from here and our delivery was free as we ordered over $75. Our food was delivered quite late and was cold upon delivery, I found out the next day they had also still charged for delivery. Food was a let down, our naan bread was also very burnt. Overall was just very tasteless. Upon messaging the restaurant this I have heard no reply. We were looking forward to trying this place for sometime but definitely is not worth it, there are a lot of other great takeout spots in Canmore instead of this one.
