Purchased a gift certificate, they didn’t provide a proper receipt for it , one of the staff barely spoke English so he called the manager, manager was mad that he got called in , was very rude didn’t help with the issue and stunk like ash tray we asked to be contacted by the owner but never got a call, too bad they don’t care about their business and customers. Would probably order food but the service is disappointing.

Best pho broth out of the 3 viet restaurants in town. Ordered the beef noodle soup with rare beef and the beef noodle soup with rare beef, brisket, and tendon. The brisket was very nice. There weren’t any Thai Basil or bean sprouts, instead we got parsley and lettuce which was unexpected. Would’ve enjoyed bean sprouts and basil more. Service was adequate and food was fast.

Had wonton soup and wonton stuffing was white. I asked the server why and she snapped. Don’t eat there. They probably make them out of cat meat

Great find hidden in the corner by the Dollarama. Had the chicken sub was pretty good overall but could use more filling as the bread was quite big. Staff are nice and the place is clean. Total bill with drink 12.08 that’s a great pice for lunch.

I wasn't expecting anything, but when we got there, we were welcome with a slow music that sounds like a music in the massage therapist, natural ambience, calming. It was clean and have a good ventilation system. Since it is summer, some restaurant out there with no ventilation system are so hot and unbearable. But this restaurant has individual air-conditioning vent on top a few tables so that helps with the ventilation system overall. we ordered the spicy beef soup and regular soup. With appetizer shrimp roll. All of them taste so wonderful and the broth were rich. When we finish, we also check out the toilet and it was clean. A lot of lighting and smells fresh. I will recommend this place 10 out of 10.

I was very excited to try Hong Thai because of its high rating. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. We ordered the Squid And Green Chili as our appetizer. Then I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp, and my son had Seafood Saute Soup. The appetizer came after our mean dishes, and it was very disappointing smelling quite fishy and the squid was not fresh at all. The green chili dip tasted off as well. My Pad Thai with shrimp came with shrimp with the tails on and wasn't fresh either. The noodles had been stir-fried in a big lump in what I think was plum sauce or chili plum sauce with big chunks of bell peppers and big chunks of celery, and that's it. The crushed peanuts and lemon wedge were served on the side. There was pretty good pork balls that they put in my son's soup. Otherwise, it was super spicy, with very few pieces of seafood and lacking in flavour. Our server was kind of strange in that he hid behind the counter on his phone, didn't do a quality check, and was generally random in his behavior. I think that there was a language barrier.

This is usually one of our family fav but unfortunately over the Canada Day weekend we went in and I ordered something slightly different (Vietnamese ice coffee) and my stomach turned so bad and whole weekend ruined. My family was ok so that meant there was something in the drink that wasn’t right.
