You would expect that when you pay 1500 for a return flight from Edmonton to Toronto that you actually get some premium perks....don't kid yourself. Breakfast was so old and not rotated that some of the "potatoes" were literally hard as rocks cause they keep refilling the pan but not getting rid of the old potatoes in it....the burrito was so dry that the Alberta government still doesn't think it's an emergency drought...brutal, at least the apple juice was free I guess...

Quick entry. Was quite crowded in the morning but thinned out by 11:30. Food was pretty decent. We were able to see the breakfast menu transition to the lunch... but were good. The alcohol didn't come out until 11 am.

Definitely better than plaza premium hands down. The food at the YEG lounge has always been lack-luster in my opinion. The YYC lounge in terminal C is much better.

November 2023 4*Lounge is located just in front of Gate 50. The place is not very big so there are limited numbers of seats. Can be challenging to get seat easily.Food options are limited but you can enjoy your break. There is bar area and drink section. Staff is helpful. I just give one star less for having limited options. Otherwise the lounge is good enough for short stay.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options

A totally average Maple Leaf Lounge, nothing special. A little small and dated. I visited at night for a red-eye flight at midnight and it was moderately busy. The drinks section was cordoned off. There was nothing for hot foods, only soup, sandwiches, and cold salad offerings. A little sad. The staff were friendly. Really meh, come here only if you have to.

Good lounge before a flight. It does get busy. It ls clean. I would say much better than the overcrowded and dirty AC lounge in Toronto or Montreal.

First time in the maple leaf lounge in Edmonton and we were pleasantly surprised. It's one of the smaller lounges we have been to in Canada, but it was alot quieter, no line up for the food, drinks, or the bathroom. There was ample seating, which was comfortable black leather seats. You don't have much of a view outside though. The beer choice was limited to coors lights and Canadian, which didn't interest me. Would be nice to add 1 good beer in. The hard liquor had ample choices, as well as the wine too. Soft drinks was good enough as well.Food selection was small, but had soup, wraps, salad, some finger foods, and dessert. The food does get you by while you're waiting for your flight. It all tasted good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so they made it to be a good experience as well. The entire lounge was very clean and had no complaints.Overall, it's small and doesn't provide too much, but it's definitely worth sitting back and realizing before your flight.

Really, really, really terrible for breakfast. Barely any options and food is pretty terrible. Think discount hotel Continental breakfast. The lounge could use an update. It is very basic, but clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. It's definitely not comparable with other AC lounges.

Not bad for "free" but this would be a huge disappointment if you paid an entrance fee to use. The lounge is small. It's narrow, with not a lot of seating, and a lot of unnecessary dividers taking up valuable space. The food selection is limited, usually a couple of warm finger foods and a cold meat wrap, alongside a small salad bar. There is also a small selection of drinks and a soda fountain, Although good luck getting to any as usually staff are stood in front of it talking, or getting in your way attempting to be helpful. This area could definitely do with a refurbishment. There's virtually no plugs for charging or powering a laptop by any of the seats, and the bathroom is cramped and falling apart. That all being said, the staff at the welcome desk very very pleasant and made you feel respected and appreciated for your loyalty to Air Canada.

Clean and fairly quiet. Food offerings have gotten better over time. Staff are always friendly.

Quite possibly the worst Maple Leaf Lounge in the country. Miserable food selection, self-serve bar section fenced off, and a severe shortage of power outlets!
