First time trying as my uncle mentioned he loved burger baron in the 80s. Very welcoming and definitely decor was still from the 80s… don’t sleep on the Swiss mushroom bacon burger with onion rings, was a great portion compared to McDonald’s which makes you feel full. Glad to have tried the place and will be back. Oh by the way, price on point.

Honestly there isn’t a burger place that compares to the burgers here. The food is so rich and tasty, not to mention well priced. This is the only place I can go to, order just a burger and be left completely full! The service is amazing and the food is simply delicious! My partner and I try to come here almost every week cause we can’t get enough of it!

Burger Baron is a bonafide Canadian classic which I've just had the pleasure of trying recently. Albeit this location isn't in the best area and has some interesting characters hanging around it, I was very impressed for a hole in the wall burger shack. I got their veggie burger, fries, and a chocolate shake. First off, I'm impressed a classic place like this even has a veggie burger, so that was a plus! The bun was crispy and toasted, and their "baron sauce" was quite flavorful. The patty itself was seasoned nicely and grilled to perfection. Fries are BIG, in a good way. I shared them with a friend and we still had some left over, they're nice and crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The shake was great, but very thick and could've done with being thinned out a fair amount. I felt the straw was insufficient for the amount of sucking needed to get the shake into your mouth. Overall, a great classic burger joint. To note - when I was there (on foot) I was instructed to use the drive thru window, which was strange. But the front counter worker was friendly, prices were reasonable, and they have outdoor seating, which was nice and very reminiscent of an 80's diner.
