They have fusion style of Asian foods. I’ve heard the cocktail is really good. I don’t remember which one I tried but it was actually really good? For food, salmon maki was simple in a good way. Mango shrimp salad was both sweet and a little spicy, so good?? And Pad Thai was really good. The noodle was chewy, the sauce was so spicy cuz I ordered them to make it really spicy lol I forgot to take picture, but I ordered beef salad roll too. It was enough big actually, and taste good. They have so many options of foods and I want to try other meals someday?

I tried their chicken pho and it was delicious. The neon signs and the posters are iconic.

My boyfriend ordered delivery for us from Chi & Em tonight through uber eats. We were both craving sushi and wanted a late night meal. The food felt underwhelming tonight as we usually go in person and dine-in at the restaurant (which we have enjoyed). Some good things, food was delivered in a timely manner and everything we ordered was included. Now on to some things we noticed about our order:- The food containers were sticky on the outside. Likely gloves were not changed when packing up our food. There was even some stray grains of rice stuck to my boyfriend's can of coke lol- Our rolls were unevenly cut, no piece of sushi was the same size, which made them difficult to eat as the smaller cut pieces would fall apart upon trying to pick it up with the chopsticks.- Sushi rice was overly sweet, maybe we just got a bad batch tonight or the rice vinegar wasn't evenly distributed/mixed with the rice. Half way through eating we ended up just picking the filling/topping off the rolls and ate that without the rice.We want to give Chi & Em another chance as we usually have a great time dining in, we hope tonight's food was just a one time miss. Though we likely will not order for delivery again as this meal did not feel like it was worth the $65 we paid (with the uber delivery/service fee/tip to driver included in the price)We ordered the Rainbow Roll, Salmon Maki, Aburi Salmon and a can of coke.

This place has great atmosphere and good selection of drinks. The food itself is so so for the price, very similar to Volcano and Maki Maki which is vietnamese/japanese fusion type food. Good place to go check it out but prob not return

The waitress that was serving us did not know anything about the menu, food, or receipts. I'm a vegetarian and was quite surprised they had a veg option for wonton soup, which is why I went there with my friends. 5 mins into the order, I'm told that they can't make the wonton soup vegetarian? Then why is it on the menu? Their prices differ online than in-person. They charge you extra for a take-out box and extra for a take-out bag. The atmosphere was very quiet when we went there at 9 pm on a Friday, however it got busy around 10:30 pm. When it came to the bill, 2 waitresses asked us to pay with a credit card because it's "too hard" to do cash+credit card separately. We didn't feel welcomed to this place.

Vietnamese food was good! The sushi side of the menu left much to be desired. Also had the cocktails and they were delicious.

Owned by a pair of lovely sisters, the service is always warm and inviting. Cool vibes and I appreciate the creativity of their signature cocktails. The meat platter hits the spot every time. I adore this restaurant!

I think my expectations were a bit too high so I was disappointed. I think the food is overpriced for some of its quality.Pho soup was great. Chicken lemongrass was burned. Vermicelli sauce was too sweet for me and this seemed to ruin the overall balance of food. The dipping sauce for rice paper roll was also sweet.

Overall food was ok. Vietnamese ube iced coffee was the highlight of our meal. I’ve had bun bo hue better elsewhere. Service wasn’t the greatest & took long since there was only 1 server during lunch. If you’re looking for instagrammable food/place I would say definitely check this place out.

Ordered for pickup today , the food is spilled everywhere and no fork or spoon provided . I guess they assume customer must eat by barehand.

The food is amazing, drinks are amazing too especially the taro boba with lychee, salad rolls 10/10 and pho is a solid 10/10. This place is a hidden gem and deserves more business! 100% coming here

This is the best spot on Whyte to go to for Vietnamese food. Incredibly large portions at a great price and amazing depth to the flavours. The pho broth is savoury and not too sweet, just the way I like it. They also have their own versions of fried chicken wings that present an authentic taste. They are always consistently delicious and I would definitely recommend this place.
