The hotel room was clean, affordable and quiet. It also had aan indoor pool and a fitness centre. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was good and filling. I would recommend this hotel to others. Ron. Canada.

My wife and I stayed there for one night. Overall, it was a very good experience. Check-in was easy. The hotel lobby, hallways and room all smelled and looked clean. The pool was closed for a short time for maintenance but was hopping with activity in a matter of two hours. We were surprised with a suite and king sized bed. It would have been nice if water was in the room. The location was good for us as we had business to attend in the neighbourhood. If you cannot or do to want to eat at the hotel restaurant, there are a couple of highly recommended restaurants within an easy 5-10 minute walk. The only negative we could give was the outside stairs and parking lot on check-out. Someone left garbage and cigarette butts around the front, presumably from the night before. Overall it met most our expectations and the larger than expected room was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes this hotel has very rates. I recommend checking this place out if needing to be in West Edmonton overnight.

Paid for a room for my daughter on Expedia. It had a deposit policy of $300 if you don’t have a credit card at check in. My daughter went to use her debit and the front desk person would not take her debit card. She said cash only. Pretty sure they were trying to steal it. I had to get a credit card authorization to check her in. We have booked many other hotels for her. Do better Coast hotel….

After a ten minute wait for someone at the front desk for check in we were then told there was five minutes left to order a meal. We rushed in and ordered. After putting our bags in the room we get a phone call asking for a credit card number for our meal to be delivered to the room despite wishing to eat in. We make it to the sorry excuse for a bar / restaurant to be quickly reminded its closing time soon. somewhat passively pressured to be polite we ask for the food to go. At this point the one bar tender tells the chef our order. We recieve a high quality bill for low quality food. Upon asking for cutlery for our room are given 3 plastic forks. And proceed to open up meals comparable to the dog food served in an Albertan oil sand camp. A side of shrimp with the steak that is comparable to bait on a low end fishing trip. Terrible all around. I wish I slept in my truck or the local jail

Made reservation including pet , was quoted price , checked in got an added surprise fee for pet . Wouldn't let us check in until 4 pm even though we had been on road already for 5 hours and then had a medical procedure done. Tried to check in at noon . Asked them to please hurry clean up and phone us when able to check-in. They said they would but didn't. The room was cold, no way to control or increase heat. They gave us a space heater . Won't ever stay again .

I have stayed at coast hotels before. This is by far the worst of the 3 coast hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are smaller, no comp breakfast and no usb charging connection. Our room had noisy doors and peeling paint in the washroom. there is a large gap on the front door which lets lots of light in front the hallway. Not sure if this was on purpose to serve as a nightlight and for ventilation. The air conditioner works well and cools down the room fast. There appears to be just 1 elevator to service 5 floors. The check-in lobby is a bit dated. Bed was good with a couple of choices for pillow. Definitely would not stay at this particular coast hotel again.

Our stay at the Coast West Edmonton Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and willing to help. The price is very reasonable and the staff and cleaning staff do an excellent job at hospitality and cleanliness.

The building is old but was clean. Good location if you want to go to the west Edmonton mall . The price is good for what you get. There banquet room was booked the night we stayed and our room was across from that area making it hard to sleep with the music being loud coming from the banquet room.

We arrived approximately 10:30 pm Sept 5/22 The room was booked through Expedia till Sept 9/22 (non-refundable) big mistake. After checking in we were given a room at the end of 2 very long hallways, after carrying our luggage ourselves (my mistake) will always use a trolley from now on, we arrived at our room only to find it had not been cleaned from previous people. We had to do the long trek back to the front desk to ask for a clean room. I mentioned I would like to speak to a manager but no one contacted me. I was there 4 days. The next room had furniture with chunks of it carved out and missing. The fridge was unplugged with all the near by sockets full. The grout in the shower was growing something. I asked for a extension cord so I could plug the fridge in it never came. Had I not of been locked into this Hotel through Expedia I would have left immediately. I Do Not recommend this Hotel. In order to close our door, we had to body slam it each time.

Found a bug crawling on sheets, unclean towels, the throws and accent pillows were stained, water damage on walls and bathroom with poor repair job. Half a roll of TP, no extra rolls. Called front desk, they brought more sheets and towels but offered no apology or anything. Room had old smoke odor as well. Will not be staying here again or recommending to anyone.

Don’t make the mistake I did by eating here. Ordered the bbq rib dinner and I’m fairly certain it’s the pre-prepared pack of ribs they sell at Costco. Will obviously never eat here again.

Nice little restaurant in the hotel. Service was slow, but the food portions were HUGE!

Choices Kitchen & Bar offers standard hotel meals. Nothing super fancy, just good hardy meals. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food is well prepared.

I stayed in the hotel where this restaurant is in the lobby. I came by at 8:30PM to order a dinner to go (I want to eat in my room). There was no one in the restaurant. My butter chicken was ok, but jasmine rice was very hard to chew because it’s over cooked and dried. I know those were last few scoops of rice that they tried to get from rice cooker. It’s not acceptable, not forgivable, unskillful chef and lack of quality control from management.
