I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything is gluten free and they were able to accommodate dairy free for my 3 year old. Thank you!!!

Came here for lunch for downtown dining week. We arrived shortly after they opened knowing it would get busy around noon. The dill pickle soup and schnitzel were great! Also liked the complimentary garlic bread they gave us while enjoying the soup.Service was awful though, which ruined my dining experience here. The first 2 courses came out in good time and the waitress had come by to check on us initially but once we finished our schnitzel we never saw another wait staff again for half an hour, no one stopped to see if we needed anything or to refill water. I saw them going to serve other tables as th y started to get busier but my table was ignored. I had to go up to the bar to ask someone there if we could get our dessert. After more time had passed our dessert arrived but I didn't have much time left to enjoy it (at this point it was 1pm, lunch took 2 hours). I asked for a box to take away the dessert, the waitress said she would come back but never did so again I had to waive down the host that was seating guests. I was initially thinking with the nice atmosphere it would be a place I'd like to return for an anniversary dinner with my husband, but given the terrible service I would rather choose somewhere else.

The Jasper Ave location has a wonderful atmosphere paired with exceptional service. My experience here was nothing short of 5 stars. The gluten free European cuisine was fantastic. Pleased to have this dining opportunity in Edmonton.

Service was fantastic, seated right away and service was top notch. Went for a lunch special, so good!Lost 1 star only because there were too many raisins in the apple strudel, almost more than apple.. Atmosphere was fantastic, great music, nice lighting. Lost 1 star because well, it wasn't luxurious. It was almost luxurious.Would I recommend YES, YES, YES! It's totally gluten free, but very delicious- I wish they sold the bread by the loaf! Yummy! ?

Had an excellent experience at the continental bistro, the food and service was great and there was a live band playing while we had dinner. Great place to go for a weekend evening out!

Very disappointed- went to celebrate our anniversary. At the door we were greeted with a conversation between 2 workers as to what table to give us. When they took us to the table it was dirty and so we were told to wait while they cleaned it. He came back with a rag and two plates with cutlery. He tried to wipe the table but the cloth he was using was obviously dry so the table remained greasy (you could see it) so he put the clean plates down and went to get another cloth while we stood there. Hmm so unprofessional. When he returned he wiped parts of the table and we had to ask him to please wipe it entirely. He left us with dinner menus and said our server would be over with a drink list. We waited awhile before she dropped off the drink list - no introduction. Brought us water and we ordered a bottle of wine as well as an appetizer. Another sever brought the appetizer and they were not impressive. The garlic prawns were extremely small and tasteless although they were swimming in some sort of oil with a grilled lemon on the side. The bread had caraway seeds which I have an allergy to but they had no replacement. The beet salad had only red beets with minimal splash of olive oil. Ordered our mains - chicken schnitzel with pan fried potatoes and sauce (which you pay extra for). When our meal arrived 9 tables were empty but full of dirty dishes and glasses with no one rushing to clean them. Not impressive to eat among dirty tables. The food was 2/5 - chicken was cold, 4 slices of potatoe which really weren’t pan fried and the veggies were a small portion of shredded beets and carrots best part of the meal.By the time we were done the tables still remained dirty - absolutely no one making an effort to clean them. Awful site to try and eat staring at empty tables full of leftover food on plates etc. The music was extremely loud so that was not enjoyable to try and have a conversation. Bottom line we won’t be returning.

Finally was able to take my wife to this restaurant after hearing about it for a long time. For her as a person with Celiac to have the freedom to order anything on the menu and not have to worry about the risk of cross-contamination was so wonderful. We both really enjoyed the food and you would never know that it is all made with special gluten-free ingredients, because it’s all so delicious! You can tell that time and care goes into the food, would definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: The whole restaurant is certified gluten-free so if you have any kind of gluten allergy or intolerance this is a must-try for sure.
