This used to be my favourite restaurant, I'd go here once a week, but the quality of food has deteriorated. They served me spoiled fruit and cold food multiple times, and now I don't trust that anything they serve is fresh. I doubt I'll dine here again, but the restaurant used to be the best in the city.

Won’t be eating here again sadly.Food is amazing but on Saturday I called when they opened to ask to make a reservation and they said there’s no need, just to come for my requested time and it wouldn’t be a long wait.We showed up and it was more than a 45min wait!!!! My grandma was recently out of hospital which is why I tried to make the reservation. After we eventually sat down it took another 40 for food to come out!!!!Absolutely not worth it for expensive breakfast. Very annoyed with their lack of customer service

Good food, good service, nice ambiance, a menu selection to please. Tasty food the staff are happy and enjoy what they do. Nice to experience something a little different for breakfast, brunch. The Pannekoeken is delicious with many options available. Gluten free options are also available.

Attentive service, great food. Had the salmon Benedict. Potatoes hash browns were soft yet crispy outside. Hollandais of course is well done.

I've always liked De Dutch so when I found this was within walking distance of our hotel I brought my boys down for breakfast. The food was good but not sure it matched the price, paid $4 extra for whipped cream and strawberries and the strawberries looked like the bottom of the bowl at a fundraiser pancake breakfast. The other comment I'd have is that this place needs more street presence, I was literally standing in front looking at my phone trying to find the restaurant and then I figured out we were there. I understand why staff doesn't seat people up front, but that would certainly help. But hey, I love De Dutch because it's good and it's different. If I'm in the area, I'll be back

De Dutch is one of the nicer brunch places in downtown Edmonton given the quality and consistency of the food and service. I’d give them 7.8/10. The Hash is probably one of the top things to try when stopping by. Note that parking can be difficult on weekends…

Unbelievably expensive for what you're getting. I had the veggie pannekoken and it was damp and flavorless. I paid $23.00 for a gross crepe with a couple sad veggies.

We always have such a fantastic experience whenever we go to De Dutch, and yesterday was no exception. Great service, great food with fresh ingredients that is reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service, nice atmosphere, good selection on the menu. Ordered the mixed berry pannekoeken which came with real whip cream it was delicious and a mediterranean omelette which was very good, hash browns are real potatoes. You get to pick what type of bread you want for toast, a nice touch. Lots of options for what to order. Healthy sized portions, quality ingredients, fresh squeezed orange juice if you like. Gluten free options if you desire. Worth a try and you'll likely want to go back.

We go here for the gluten friendly Pannenkoeken. My kids love it and the kids menu is priced very well.
