I highly recommend visiting the wonderful Asian style Friends & Neighbours Cafe on Whyte Ave. There is much to offer. They have a great variety of items to select from on the menu. They offer food for both eaters of meat dishes and for vegans. The service is excellent and the atmosphere of the Cafe is cozy and delightful. There are artworks to view on the walls which are very fascinating to look at.

A great little diner. A really good selection of Western and Vietnamese foods. There are a lot of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food came out fairly quickly and was very tasty. They also cater to vegetarian and vegan folks. There are so many choices. I highly recommend the restaurant. You won't go wrong choosing to eat here.

This is a quirky little restaurant with a quirky menu. Still, it's somewhere different for brunch if you want a change from the usual. They have a couple of variations of tofu scramble, either as just tofu or tofu with veggies. They also do vegan egg Bennie which is made with a savoury mochi that looks like a boiled egg. The downside is the food is a bit on the greasy side. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-19

The Satay Soup was amazing, absolutely packed with veggies, meat, and noodles and super flavourful. Also make sure you get the house made iced tea, it’s insane. Staff are wonderful and atmosphere is perfectly laid back.

Pros: Excellent food, friendly service, quaint vibe, great location.Cons: sometimes service can be a bit slow, ordered drinks are occasionally forgotten. I am okay with this as it is worth the wait and understand this is a small family establishment that can get busy.Overall: This is one of our go to spots for a nice hot Pho or vermicelli bowl. The prices are good and the food is even better.
