During my initial visit to this restaurant, I found the food to be of good quality and the staff generally cordial. However, my overall experience was tainted by an unfortunate incident. Despite no other customers waiting, a staff member not only cleared our table without prior notice or request for us to leave, but also began setting the table for potential future customers. This action was carried out with an unsettling silence, devoid of the courtesy and communication expected in good customer service. A simple explanation or polite request would have been more appropriate and respectful. Regrettably, this incident has influenced my decision not to return to this restaurant and I feel obliged to share this experience with my friends and acquaintances.

The restaurant is small and too many tables. Ingredients (pork, shrimp) don’t taste that fresh. The food is quite salty and seems like it covered the taste of the ingredients. We ordered fried shrimp and the flour layer is weirdly thick.

It's become our new favorite for takeout orders. The sweet and sour pork is always tasty, and yesterday, we ordered ginger chicken as a change from our usual ginger beef. It was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Good portions. We always pick up, so it's nice and hot when we eat it, and it's great to get 10% off for doing that, along with not paying service charges and tips.

Really delicious meals. My absolute favourite is their beef & gai lan, and their peach yum yum prawns. Definitely recommend those! Their other stuff on the menu is just as good as well, like the crispy garlic chicken. I also really like their homemade lemon iced tea, very refreshing and not too sweet.Service is amazing, very friendly and quick. Definitely recommend this restaurant for Chinese cuisine!

Well. After giving them a 6th chance, I’m officially done with this restaurant. I was given a credit on my entire meal from new years (the 5th chance) when they forgot my beef in not only my beef chow mein, but my beef fried rice, and the green onion cakes were also solid rock. I’m just glad I was the only one eating it or I would’ve had some very hungry and disappointed guests! I went to use my credit last time… cause who doesn’t want to go back to a restaurant after they mess up?? The chicken fried rice had hardly any flavour and was hard in some areas… the beef and broccoli was NOT flavourful at all..: and it was missing the carrots. I asked for extra sauce in it and that didn’t happen either. The “tenderloin beef cubes” were definitely not tenderloin and were super squishy and almost fatty. It alsoSaid it came with green peppers but only came with onions. I’m always so disappointed with this place and even with talking to them and trying to rectify the issue, the meal was almost worse with the credit. Super frustrating. I do not recommend.
Everything was great. The food was so good, I ate so much. Overall the restaurant has relaxing music and overall the atmosphere was great. The staff were fast and overall very kind and helpful. Easily rate it 5 stars, if I could I would give more.

Good Buddy has several locations around Edmonton all serve great Cantonese and Chinese cuisines. The Granville location is on the west side near WEM. During lunch hours it’s busy, they have small waiting area for both people waiting to dine in and for take out. We wait about 5 mins not too bad. We get the lunch special the beef with egg on rice. Very delicious and hot when serving. Very good portion I can easily feel full even without finishing it. The staff there is nice and patience feels like they are working there for long time. After meal they give us mango pudding for free it’s a plus. Lots parking available at the plaza.
