I missed the part about requiring a reservation but they seated us because it was empty. I would recommend making a reservation. Also, you have to let them know a day ahead if you want to eat anything that's not pork-the entire menu is just pork dishes.After all that, the sauce was good but the schnitzel was underwhelming.Service was ok and the atmosphere was ok.Vegetarian options: There aren't any. A pretty amazing selection of schnitzel! You do need to plan ahead to dine here as they only take people by reservation so that they can prepare enough schnitzel fresh that day.

Took my son for his birthday. Having never been to a German restaurant we didn’t really know what to expect. A couple of German friends recommended Haus Falkenstein so we went. The owner was super helpful and fun. The food was delicious. The waitress we had was new and didn’t ask us if we wanted to have desert and wasn’t coming back so we didn’t have desert, which we were prepared to. Hope to be back though. Had an overall positive experience.

In response to the owners Reply:Since you deleted the other 1 star review posted -Unfortunately that day 2 of our guests were sick, we were told as we were sitting down by these 2 guests that they were unable to attend we informed our server as soon as we knew. We got met with a snappy reply of "well you better order food to go" and her quickly leaving without even greeting the other 2 guests that did show up. I understand you guys pride yourself on serving fresh non frozen schnitzel but it is the middle of winter with a lot of sickness going around there is no way we are the only table who has not had guests come in because of a sickness. Aside from the mediocre service yes I did recommend the food it was descent I gave it 3 stars it came out very quickly it was hot and it tasted good but at that point our whole tables mood was shot down and we were ready to leave and it felt like she was ready to usher us out hence why I gave the service one star in regards to her horrible reaction at the start and her demeanor throughout the rest of the meal. It is not our fault you had to "dump" three full meals as no restaurant in their right mind starts making food before their guests even show up but as they say the owner is always right not the customer.
